又豈無權攜一奉主之婦人出門傳道、一如其他宗徒、與主之諸弟、以及基法之所為耶？

其昆弟謂之曰：『盍離此而赴猶太、俾爾諸徒亦得睹爾所行異蹟。

彼非梓人乎？又非瑪莉雅之子、雅谷伯若瑟樹德西門之兄弟乎？其姊若妹、非吾人之鄰居乎？』遂鄙而棄之。

耶穌聖母及兄弟至、以人擠不得進、或告耶穌曰：『爾母及兄弟延竚於外、欲求一見。』耶穌應曰：『凡聞天主之道、而實踐之者、胥為吾母吾兄弟也。』

諸昆弟既赴節、彼亦微行上京、惟未嘗公然為之耳。

嗣耶穌之母與昆弟偕來、延竚門外、遣人呼之。眾正環耶穌而坐、呼者曰：『汝母及昆弟在外求見。』耶穌對曰：『孰為吾母？孰為吾昆弟？』因環視坐眾曰：『此即吾母、吾兄弟耳；蓋凡遵行天主之旨者、胥為吾之兄弟姐妹及母氏也。』

侍於耶穌架旁者、有聖母、暨聖母之妹、格老法之妻瑪利亞、與瑪達蘭之瑪麗。

耶穌曰：『天主國之奧義、賜爾知之；為他人惟設譬而已。彼乃所謂視而不見、聞而不悟者也。

基督之誕生、其事如次：母氏瑪莉雅、既字若瑟、未同室、感聖神而懷孕。

吾亦何幸、而蒙吾主之母相顧耶？

二親聞言、驚喜交集。

聖母顧謂侍僕曰：『渠有所諭、悉遵行之。』

人未有以新布補舊衣者、恐新布頓縮、反損舊衣、而破綻益甚。

第三日、加利利之嘉納村、有設婚筵者、耶穌之母在焉；

哲士既返、主之天神夢示若瑟曰：『起攜嬰及母奔埃及、居之、以待再示、蓋希祿將欲搜嬰以殺之也。』若瑟起、當夜攜嬰及其母、首途赴埃及；

耶穌與之同返納匝勒、事之惟孝。聖母將諸事存於懷中潛心默識。

入室、果見嬰及其母瑪莉雅、乃對嬰俯伏而拜；啟寶笈、獻黃金、乳香、沒藥、以為禮。

二親見之、不勝驚愕。聖母謂之曰：『兒何待我如此？汝父與我覓汝苦矣！』

『起攜嬰及母入義塞境、欲害嬰者死矣。』
