說：「大人，我們想起當那個迷惑人的還活著時曾經說過：『在第三天我要復活。』所以，請你下令嚴密看守那墳墓，一直到第三天，免得他的門徒們來把他偷走，然後對民眾說他從死人中復活了，這樣，那最後的迷惑就要比先前的更厲害了。」

耶穌回答說：「你們把這聖所毀了吧！三天內我要把它建起來。」

他們要殺害他，然後在第三天，他要復活。」門徒們就極其憂傷。

說：「我在患難中向耶和華呼求，你就回應我；我從陰間的深處呼救，你就垂聽我的聲音。你把我丟入深海，丟入海的最深處；洪流圍繞我，你的波浪、你的洪濤都漫過我。我說：『我從你眼前被驅逐了；我卻要再次仰望你聖潔的殿！』眾水環繞我，直至我的脖子；深淵圍繞我，海草纏住我的頭。我下沉到群山的根基，大地的門在我之上永遠關閉；耶和華我的神哪，你卻把我的生命從陰坑帶上來。

說：「你這個要拆毀聖所、三天內又建起來的人哪，救救你自己吧！你如果是神的兒子，就從十字架上下來吧！」

而那些尋索要毀滅我性命的人，他們必下到地的深處；

耶穌對他說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」
