“你们种好树就结好果子，种坏树就结坏果子；凭着果子就能认出树来。

“你们或以为树好，果子也好；树坏，果子也坏；因为看果子就可以知道树。

“你们知道树好，果子也好；又知道树坏，果子也坏；因为看果子就可以知道树。

“好树结好果子，坏树结坏果子，看果子就能知道树的好坏。

“你们让一棵树好，它的果子就好；你们让一棵树坏，它的果子就坏；这样，一棵树是凭着果子被认出来。

爾或以樹為善、其果亦善、或以樹為惡、其果亦惡、蓋觀果而知樹矣、

若云菓美、則樹亦美；若云樹惡、則菓亦惡。樹之美惡、因菓而知也。

凭着他们的果子就可以认出他们来：荆棘里怎能摘到葡萄？蒺藜里怎能摘到无花果呢？照样，好树结好果子，坏树结坏果子；好树不能结坏果子，坏树也不能结好果子。凡是不结好果子的树，就被砍下来，丢在火中。因此你们凭着他们的果子就可以认出他们来。

你们应当亲近神，神就亲近你们。罪人啊，要洁净你们的手；三心两意的人哪，要清洁你们的心。

你们要喜爱良善，恨恶邪恶，在城门口伸张正义；这样，耶和华万军的神或会恩待约瑟的余民。

你们要把你们所犯的一切罪过弃掉，为自己造一个新的心和新的灵。以色列家啊，你们为什么要灭亡呢？

主对他说：“你们法利赛人把杯盘的外面洗净，但你们里面却充满了抢夺和邪恶。无知的人哪，那造外面的，不也造里面吗？

应当结出果子来，与悔改的心相称。你们心里不要以为：‘我们有亚伯拉罕作我们的祖宗。’我告诉你们，神能从这些石头中给亚伯拉罕兴起后裔来。现在斧头已经放在树根上，所有不结好果子的树，就砍下来，丢在火里。

瞎眼的法利赛人哪，先把杯和盘的里面洗净，好使外面也可以干净。

你们要住在我里面，我也就住在你们里面。枝子若不连在葡萄树上，自己就不能结果子；你们若不住在我里面，也是这样。我是葡萄树，你们是枝子。住在我里面的，我也住在他里面，他就结出很多果子；因为离开了我，你们就不能作什么。人若不住在我里面，就像枝子丢在外面枯干了，人把它们拾起来，丢在火里烧掉了。你们若住在我里面，我的话也留在你们里面；无论你们想要什么，祈求，就给你们成就。

我的弟兄们，无花果树能结橄榄吗？葡萄树能长无花果吗？咸水也不能发出甜水来。

现在斧头已经放在树根上，所有不结好果子的树，就砍下来，丢在火里。”
