He said to them,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry–

耶穌對他們說：“大衛和跟他在一起的人，在飢餓的時候所作的，你們沒有念過嗎？

耶穌對他們說：『大衛和跟隨他的人餓着的時候所作的，你們沒有誦讀過麼？

耶穌對他們說：「大衛和那些與他在一起的人飢餓時所做的事，你們難道沒有讀過嗎？

耶穌曰、爾未讀大衛及從者飢時所為乎、

耶穌曰、爾不知大闢及從人饑時所行乎、

答曰、經載大衛及從者饑時所行之事、爾未讀之乎、

耶穌對曰：『爾豈未讀大維及從者飢時之所為乎？

He answered,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

Jesus answered,“ Haven’t you read about what David did? He and his men were hungry.

He said to them,“ Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and those who were with him:

Jesus said to them,“ Haven’t you read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

He said to them,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he and those who were with him were hungry:

But He said to them,“ Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and his companions—

But He said to them,“ Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:

But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was hungry, and they that were with him;

He said to them,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he and those who were with him were hungry—

But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;

But he said to them,“ Haven’t you read what David did, when he was hungry, and those who were with him;

Now what do you have at your disposal? Give me five loaves of bread, or whatever can be found.”The priest replied to David,“ I don’t have any ordinary bread at my disposal. Only holy bread is available, and then only if your soldiers have abstained from sexual relations with women.”David said to the priest,“ Certainly women have been kept away from us, just as on previous occasions when I have set out. The soldiers’ equipment is holy, even on an ordinary journey. How much more so will they be holy today, along with their equipment!”So the priest gave him holy bread, for there was no bread there other than the bread of the Presence. It had been removed from before the LORD in order to replace it with hot bread on the day it had been taken away.

Jesus answered them,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry–

He said to them,“ Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions were hungry–how he entered the house of God when Abiathar was high priest and ate the sacred bread, which is against the law for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to his companions?”

Now as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God said to him,‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

and said to him,“ Do you hear what they are saying?” Jesus said to them,“ Yes. Have you never read,‘ Out of the mouths of children and nursing infants you have prepared praise for yourself’?”

Have you not read this scripture:‘ The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

Or have you not read in the law that the priests in the temple desecrate the Sabbath and yet are not guilty?

Now as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God,

He said to him,“ What is written in the law? How do you understand it?”

He answered,“ Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator made them male and female,
