耶穌洞察其意、謂之曰：『一國自析、必成墟；家邑自析、無以立；

Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them,“ Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.

Jesus knew what they were thinking. So he said to them,“ Every kingdom that fights against itself will be destroyed. Every city or family that is divided against itself will not stand.

若不此之務、而彼此相噬相吞、其不同歸於盡也幾希。

耶穌燭其意曰：『何腹誹為？

蓋知人之事者莫若人之心、知天主之事者亦莫若天主之聖神耳。

耶穌燭其意、謂之曰；『國而分裂、其國必墟。屋上加屋、其屋必圮。誠如爾言、予之祛鬼、係憑白責布爾、是沙殫起而自攻、其國奚以立乎？設使予之祛魔、果憑白責布爾、則爾子弟之祛鬼、又將誰恃乎？故知判爾之罪者、必在若輩之身！若予之祛鬼、乃恃天主之指、則天主之國、實已臨爾矣。夫壯士戎裝整備、以守其宅、則其財富、賴以無恙。倘有較強者、襲而勝之、則盡奪其所恃之武器、而分其貲矣。

耶穌招之來、設譬以喻之曰：『夫沙殫安能卻沙殫哉？國而自分、其國必亡；家而自裂、其家奚立。若沙殫起而自攻、則成分裂、烏在其能自立而不亡乎？凡欲入壯士之室、而刧其所藏者、未有不先縛其人、而後掠其室者也。

諳我起居。鑒我秘思。

耶穌立燭其意、曰：『爾心何為竊議？

凡屬受造之物、莫不在天主明鑒之下、腑肺盡露；吾人皆向渠負責、固無所逃於天地間也。

大邑分裂為三、萬邦諸邑頹然傾圮。於是大巴比倫乃受天主之報應、而飲其霹靂之酒矣！

其子女均將夭折；俾諸教會皆知吾洞察人心、且將按爾中各人之行為而施報應焉。

爾所見之十角及獸、終必痛恨大娼、褫其衣而裸之、且吞食其肉、而付諸一焚。凡此皆天主為促成聖謨、而使若輩一致讓國與獸、以待天主之言之圓滿見驗耳。

三問曰：『若納子西門、汝果慕我乎？』伯鐸祿因三次見問、不覺愀然曰：『主乎、爾固無所不知、當知吾之慕爾矣。』主曰：『飼吾羊！

惟耶穌於眾人、亦不予以輕信、蓋彼洞幽燭微、於人無所不悉、固無待外證耳。
