The crowd was amazed and asked,“ Could it be that Jesus is the Son of David, the Messiah?”

众人都惊奇，说：“这不是大卫的子孙吗？”

眾人都十分驚訝，說：「難道這個人就是『大衛的後裔』？」

眾駭曰、此大衛之裔乎、

眾駭曰、此大闢之裔乎、

眾皆駭異曰、此非大衛之子乎、

耶穌康復之；於是口能言、而目能視矣。眾愕然曰：『此其大維之子歟！』

All the people were astonished and said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

All the people were amazed. They said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

And all the people were amazed, and said,“ Can this be the Son of David?”

All the crowds were astounded and said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

And all the crowds were amazed and were saying,“ This man cannot be the Son of David, can he?”

And all the multitudes were amazed and said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

And all the crowds were astounded and said,“ Perhaps this is the Son of David!”

And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

After Jesus left the girl’s home, two blind men followed along behind him, shouting,“ Son of David, have mercy on us!”

“ What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?” They replied,“ He is the son of David.”Jesus responded,“ Then why does David, speaking under the inspiration of the Spirit, call the Messiah‘ my Lord’? For David said,

When the crowds heard him say this, some of them declared,“ Surely this man is the Prophet we’ve been expecting.”Others said,“ He is the Messiah.” Still others said,“ But he can’t be! Will the Messiah come from Galilee?For the Scriptures clearly state that the Messiah will be born of the royal line of David, in Bethlehem, the village where King David was born.”

Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting,“ Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Praise God in highest heaven!”

“ Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?”

So Jesus cast out the demon, and then the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed.“ Nothing like this has ever happened in Israel!” they exclaimed.

A vast crowd brought to him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn’t speak, and many others. They laid them before Jesus, and he healed them all.The crowd was amazed! Those who hadn’t been able to speak were talking, the crippled were made well, the lame were walking, and the blind could see again! And they praised the God of Israel.

A Gentile woman who lived there came to him, pleading,“ Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severely.”
