All the people were astonished and said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

众人都惊奇，说：“这不是大卫的子孙吗？”

眾人都十分驚訝，說：「難道這個人就是『大衛的後裔』？」

眾駭曰、此大衛之裔乎、

眾駭曰、此大闢之裔乎、

眾皆駭異曰、此非大衛之子乎、

耶穌康復之；於是口能言、而目能視矣。眾愕然曰：『此其大維之子歟！』

All the people were amazed. They said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

And all the people were amazed, and said,“ Can this be the Son of David?”

The crowd was amazed and asked,“ Could it be that Jesus is the Son of David, the Messiah?”

All the crowds were astounded and said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

And all the crowds were amazed and were saying,“ This man cannot be the Son of David, can he?”

And all the multitudes were amazed and said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

And all the multitudes were amazed, and said, Can this be the son of David?

And all the crowds were astounded and said,“ Perhaps this is the Son of David!”

And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out,“ Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

“ What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?”“ The son of David,” they replied.He said to them,“ How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him‘ Lord’? For he says,

On hearing his words, some of the people said,“ Surely this man is the Prophet.”Others said,“ He is the Messiah.” Still others asked,“ How can the Messiah come from Galilee?Does not Scripture say that the Messiah will come from David’s descendants and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?”

The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,“ Hosanna to the Son of David!”“ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”“ Hosanna in the highest heaven!”

“ Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”

And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said,“ Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”

Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them.The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel.

A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out,“ Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon- possessed and suffering terribly.”
