加伯農乎、爾會得升至天、後必墮於地獄、蓋在爾中所施之異能、若施於所多瑪、則於今日尚存、

葛法農乎、爾欲蒙陟而登青雲乎？爾必被降而入冥獄也。蓋設令爾中所行神蹟、行於瑣同、則彼邑至今應猶依然無恙耳。

So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.By your many sins and dishonest trade you have desecrated your sanctuaries. So I made a fire come out from you, and it consumed you, and I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching.All the nations who knew you are appalled at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.’” (niv)
