But when they saw it, they all complained, saying,“ He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.”

And when all the people heard Him, even the tax collectors justified God, having been baptized with the baptism of John.

Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him.And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying,“ This Man receives sinners and eats with them.”

but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,that no flesh should glory in His presence.

O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.A senseless man does not know, Nor does a fool understand this.

Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said,“ Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?”This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.But Jesus said,“ Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial.For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.”

saying:“ Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”

Wisdom is in the sight of him who has understanding, But the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.

To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,
