Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

What I’m about to tell you is true. No one more important than John the Baptist has ever been born. But the least important person in the kingdom of heaven is more important than he is.

Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

“ I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is!

“ Truly I tell you, among those born of women no one greater than John the Baptist has appeared, but the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Truly I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than John the Baptist! Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

“ Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not arisen a greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is but little in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

我告訴你們，凡女子所生的，沒有比約翰大的；但在上帝國裏，最小的比他還大。」

惟有上帝能照我所傳的福音和所講的耶穌基督，並照歷代以來隱藏的奧祕的啟示，堅固你們。這奧祕如今顯示出來，而且按着永生上帝的命令，藉眾先知的書指示萬民，使他們因信而順服。

我原是使徒中最小的，不配稱為使徒，因為我曾迫害過上帝的教會。

雖然我比眾聖徒中最小的還小，他還賜我這恩典，讓我把基督那測不透的豐富傳給外邦人，

有許多人來到他那裏，說：「約翰沒有行過一件神蹟，但約翰所說有關這人的一切話都是真的。」

約翰是點亮的明燈，你們情願因他的光歡欣一時。

我是用水給你們施洗，叫你們悔改；但那在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是給他提鞋子也不配，他要用聖靈與火給你們施洗。

所以，無論誰廢掉這誡命中最小的一條，又教導人也這樣做，他在天國裏要稱為最小的。但無論誰遵行並如此教導人的，他在天國裏要稱為大。

當耶和華包紮他百姓的傷口，醫治他所擊打傷痕的日子，月光必像日光，日光必加七倍，像七日的光一樣。

既是這樣，你們若有今生當審判的事，會讓教會所輕看的人來審判嗎？

耶穌這話是指信他的人要受聖靈說的；那時還沒有賜下聖靈，因為耶穌還沒有得到榮耀。

這樣，在上帝面前人怎能稱義？婦人所生的怎能潔淨？

人是甚麼，竟算為潔淨呢？婦人所生的是甚麼，竟算為義呢？

就是那在我以後來的，我給他解鞋帶也不配。」

誰能使潔淨出於污穢呢？誰也不能！

對他們說：「凡為我的名接納這小孩子的，就是接納我；凡接納我的，就是接納那差我來的。你們中間最小的，他就是最大的。」

「人為婦人所生，日子短少，多有患難。

因此，耶和華－以色列的上帝說：『我確實說過，你和你祖宗的家必永遠行在我面前，但現在耶和華卻說，我絕不會這樣做。因為尊重我的，我必尊重他；藐視我的，他必被輕視。

因為上帝給我們預備了更美好的事，若沒有我們，他們就不能達到完全。

那日，耶和華必保護耶路撒冷的居民。他們中間軟弱的在那日必如大衛；大衛家必如上帝，如行在他們前面的耶和華的使者。

約翰為他作見證，喊着說：「這就是我曾說：『那在我以後來的先於我，因為在我以前，他已經存在。』」

他在主面前將要為大，淡酒烈酒都不喝，從母腹裏就被聖靈充滿。

他必興旺；我必衰微。」

看哪，我是在罪孽裏生的，在我母親懷胎的時候就有了罪。

我們從前也都生活在他們當中，放縱肉體的私慾，隨着肉體和心中的意念去做，和別人一樣，生來就是該受懲罰的人。

論到這救恩，那預先說你們要得恩典的眾先知已經詳細地搜索查考過，

但如今藉着我們的救主基督耶穌的顯現已經表明出來；他把死廢去，藉着福音，將不朽的生命彰顯出來。

這道就是歷世歷代所隱藏的奧祕，但如今向他的聖徒顯明了。上帝要讓他們知道，這奧祕在外邦人中有何等豐盛的榮耀；就是基督在你們心裏成了得榮耀的盼望。
