Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

What I’m about to tell you is true. No one more important than John the Baptist has ever been born. But the least important person in the kingdom of heaven is more important than he is.

Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

“ I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is!

“ Truly I tell you, among those born of women no one greater than John the Baptist has appeared, but the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Truly I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than John the Baptist! Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

“ Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not arisen a greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is but little in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

我告訴你們，婦人所生的、沒有一個比約翰大的；然而在上帝國裏最小的、比他還大！』（

願榮耀歸與上帝，就是照我所傳的福音、以及所宣傳的耶穌基督、照奧祕之啓現、那位能使你們堅固的；這奧祕是歷時歷世隱祕不宣、如今按着永恆上帝之詔命、藉着神言人們的經書、顯明出來，要使眾外國都知道、而有信仰上之聽從的；

我，我原是使徒中最小的，不配稱為使徒，因為我曾逼迫了上帝的教會。

這恩典賜給了我，竟給我這比眾聖徒最小的還小的人，叫我把基督那追尋不盡之豐富傳給外國人，

有許多人來找他。他們直說：『約翰一件神迹也沒有行過，但約翰所說關於這人的一切事倒是真真實實。』

那個人是點𤏲而發亮的燈，你們情願暫時以他的光為歡樂。

我是用水給你們洗，叫你們悔改的；但在我以後來的那一位呢、比我有力量，他的鞋我不配提的，他必用聖靈與火給你們洗。

所以凡廢掉誡命中這些最小的一條，又這樣教訓人的，在天國裏他必稱為最小的；凡遵行誡命，又教訓人的，這人在天國裏必稱為大。

當永恆主綁紮他人民的傷口，醫治其受打之重傷的日子，月光必像日光，日光必加七倍，像七個日頭的光一樣。

既然如此，即使你們有日常生活的事當過法庭，還要請教會中所不承認的那種人來坐堂啊？

但這句話耶穌是指着聖靈說的，就是信他的人將要領受的；那時聖靈還沒有來，因為耶穌還沒有得榮耀。

這樣、在上帝面前、人怎能稱為義呢？婦人所生的、怎能純潔呢？

人是甚麼，竟可以算為純潔呀？婦人所生的是甚麼，竟可以算為義麼？

就是那在我以後來的，我配不起他、去解他的鞋帶的。』

巴不得污穢之中能有潔淨呢！一概不能啊！

便對他們說：『凡為我名的緣故接待這樣小孩子的、就是接待我；凡接待我的、就是接待那差遣我的。因為在你們中間最小的，才是最大。』

『婦人所生的人歲數短促，滿有煩擾。

因此永恆主以色列的上帝發神諭說：「我固然曾經說過：你和你父的家必永遠在我面前往來」，但現在永恆主卻發神諭說：「我絕不容你們這樣行了，因為尊重我的、我必重看他；藐視我的、他就必被輕視。

因為上帝已經為了我們豫先供備更美好的事，要使他們、沒有我們、就不能得完全。

當那日、永恆主必圍護耶路撒冷的居民；他們中間疲弱的、當那日必像大衛；大衛家必像神一般的人，像永恆主的使者在他們前面領導。

約翰為耶穌作見證，喊着說：『這一位就是我所說到：「那在我以後來的、位在我前頭，因為他本是比我先的」』。）

因為他在主面前必成為大；淡酒濃酒他都不喝；自從出了母胎、他就被聖靈充滿；

那一位必須增旺，我呢、必須衰減。

唉，我是在罪孽中生的；在罪惡中我母親孕懷了我。

就是我們從前也都在其中，在我們肉體的私慾裏起居，行肉體上、心神上所意願的，生來就是該受上帝義怒的兒女，像會外人一樣——。

論到這拯救、神言人們、那些豫先傳講你們所必得之恩的、已經尋求搜索了。

如今藉着我們的救主基督耶穌之顯現為人所顯明出來的。他把死廢掉，又藉着福音將生命與「不朽」彰顯出來。
