and make them a little less than the heavenly beings? You grant mankind honor and majesty;

Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn, yet God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than the birds!

For it is written in the law of Moses,“ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.” God is not concerned here about oxen, is he?Or is he not surely speaking for our benefit? It was written for us, because the one plowing and threshing ought to work in hope of enjoying the harvest.

He said to them,“ Would not any one of you, if he had one sheep that fell into a pit on the Sabbath, take hold of it and lift it out?How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
