既入城、登一樓房、即諸徒之所寓也。諸徒者、伯鐸祿、若望、雅谷伯、安德烈、斐理伯、多默、巴多樂茂、瑪竇、亞爾弗子雅各伯、奮銳黨西門、雅谷伯之弟樹德是也。

又有安德烈、裴理伯、巴爾多樂茂、瑪竇、多默、亞爾弗子雅谷伯、樹德、加納人西門；

耶穌他適、途中見一人、坐稅關、名瑪竇、召之曰：『從予。』即起而從之。

又次日、耶穌赴加利利、適遇斐理伯、諭之曰：『從予！』斐理伯者、百賽達人、安得烈伯鐸祿之同鄉也。斐理伯遇納大那、告之曰：『摩西書及諸先知所預言者、我儕今已遇之、即若瑟之子、納匝勒人耶穌是已。』納大那曰：『納匝勒焉有良產？』斐理伯曰：『盍來一觀。』

當耶穌之來臨也、十二子中有多默亦名提諦莫者、適未與俱。他徒爰告之曰：『吾儕已曾見主。』而多默應曰：『吾非目睹其手中釘蹟、非吾親探其釘穴、非吾親手撫其肋孔、吾決不輕信。』八日後、諸徒仍聚室內、多默與俱、諸戶緊扃。耶穌復進立其中曰：『賜爾平安！』繼謂多默曰：『親指探斯穴、親視吾手、親撫吾肋孔！應具信德、莫為狐疑之徒！』多默應曰：『吾主！吾天主！』耶穌曰：『多默汝據親睹而信、彼未睹而信者、斯真福矣！』

共訪加利利伯賽大之斐理伯而求之曰：『先生、吾儕欲見耶穌。』斐理伯來告安德烈、安德烈偕斐理伯來稟耶穌。

西門伯鐸祿方與多默一名提諦莫、加利利嘉納人納大那慈伯德之二子、及其他二徒相聚處。

多默一名提諦莫者、謂諸同道曰：『吾輩亦當偕往、寧與夫子同死！』

既而他往、見亞爾弗子理味坐稅關、召之曰：『從余。』起而從之。

十二人者、為西門、即耶穌錫名伯鐸祿者、及弟安德烈、更有雅谷伯、若望、斐理伯、巴爾多樂茂、瑪竇、多默、亞爾咈子雅谷伯、奮銳黨西門、雅谷伯之弟樹德、尚有茹答斯·依斯加略、即日後鬻主者也。

彼等既見予所受聖寵之不虛、於是號稱教會柱石之雅各伯基法及若望、相率與予及巴拿巴殷勤握手、以表心契；我往外邦、而彼等則傳道於受割禮者。

天主及吾主耶穌基督之僕雅各伯、致書於僑居外邦之十二支派曰：願爾康樂。

次晨、吾儕隨葆樂同訪雅各伯、長老咸在、

其他宗徒、自主之表弟雅各伯而外悉未之見。

伯鐸祿以手示意、誡毋喧；遂縷述主為其脫獄事、並囑告之雅谷伯及諸兄弟。遂去而之他。

耶穌基督之僕、雅谷伯之弟、樹德、致書於天主聖父所垂愛、耶穌基督所庇護之諸蒙召者曰：

厥後、耶穌出行、見一稅吏名理味者、坐於稅關、諭之曰：『從予！』

言竟、雅各伯應曰：

樹德（非茹答斯依斯加略）問曰：『主將何以自顯於吾儕、而不顯於世人乎？』

耶穌曰：『斐理伯、予與爾俱、不為不久爾竟尚未相識耶！夫睹予即睹父也、胡為猶曰：「示我以父」乎？

內有瑪達蘭之瑪麗、雅谷伯若瑟之母瑪利亞、及慈伯德二子之母。

耶穌舉目、見眾就之、顧謂斐理伯曰：『何由市餅、以食斯眾？』彼作此言、蓋試之耳、胸中固有成竹也。斐理伯曰：『即有銀錢二百以市餅、亦不足使人人咸得少飽。』
