When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

and rose up and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff.Then passing through the midst of them, He went His way.Then He went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbaths.

Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews.

But their plot became known to Saul. And they watched the gates day and night, to kill him.Then the disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall in a large basket.

Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

Then immediately the brethren sent Paul away, to go to the sea; but both Silas and Timothy remained there.

I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

But if that evil servant says in his heart,‘ My master is delaying his coming,’

Then, from that day on, they plotted to put Him to death.Therefore Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim, and there remained with His disciples.

they became aware of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region.And they were preaching the gospel there.

For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city,

Now when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, He departed to Galilee.

But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region.But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and came to Iconium.

“ Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed.Then many came to Him and said,“ John performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true.”And many believed in Him there.

Jesus said to him,“ It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him.But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.

Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying,“ Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”

After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him.

Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

After the uproar had ceased, Paul called the disciples to himself, embraced them, and departed to go to Macedonia.
