And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.But he passing through the midst of them went his way,And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming[ thither] went into the synagogue of the Jews.

But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.Then the disciples took him by night, and let[ him] down by the wall in a basket.

And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still.

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

And there came thither[ certain] Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew[ him] out of the city, supposing he had been dead.Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

They were ware of[ it], and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:And there they preached the gospel.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and[ some] of them ye shall kill and crucify; and[ some] of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute[ them] from city to city:

Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;

But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.And many believed on him there.

Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.But when Jesus knew[ it], he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto[ him] the disciples, and embraced[ them], and departed for to go into Macedonia.
