是夜、同人即送葆樂、西拉赴庇哩亞；既至、共入猶太人之會堂、

其謀為掃羅所覺。若輩晝夜偵伺、伏於邑門、意在必殺。門徒乃乘夜以筐自墻縋之下。

自此耶路撒冷教會受迫益甚；宗徒而外、盡散處猶太沙瑪里各地。

同人即送葆樂至海濱；而西拉、蒂茂德則仍留於此。

予實語爾、天主必迅予昭雪矣。雖然、人子重臨之日、猶能見篤信之德、存於人世否乎？』

有猶太人自安提阿、以哥念至、唆眾以石擊葆樂、意其已死、乃曳之郊外；諸徒方環立、而葆樂起矣！逕入城翌日、偕巴拿巴赴德本傳福音、

倘有不肖之僕、私揣其主稽遲、

事為二人所覺、乃避之呂高尼、遍歷路司德、德朋二邑及其四境、傳揚福音。

蓋正如電光發自東方、照徹西方、人子之臨、亦復如是。

至是、人子之標幟、見於中天。時率土眾民、咸將哀泣、見人子威靈顯赫駕雲而降、

是故吾遣先知哲人經師於爾、爾或刃之釘之、或鞭之於會堂、逐之於諸邑、

耶穌既聞如望被逮、乃退至加利利。

而猶太人則唆聳歸化之貴婦及負時望者、迫辱葆樂、巴拿巴、逐之出境。二人當眾拂去足塵、而赴以哥念；門徒皆大歡喜、備受聖神。

是故爾等當小心翼翼、朝乾夕惕；其日與時、非爾所知也。

當是之時、將見人子駕雲而降、威光顯赫、

至是若輩又欲執之；耶穌脫手避去、復至約旦河外、在如望初授洗處而居焉；人多就之、其言曰：『如望未曾行一靈蹟、然其為斯人作證之言、則靡有不確也。』彼處多有信奉之者。

耶穌曰：『爾言之矣。第予告爾、爾將見人子坐於全能者之右、自天駕雲而降。』

法利塞人出、共謀誅滅耶穌。耶穌知之、即引退、人多從之、耶穌悉治其病、

哲士既返、主之天神夢示若瑟曰：『起攜嬰及母奔埃及、居之、以待再示、蓋希祿將欲搜嬰以殺之也。』

此後耶穌往來於加利利境內、而不願親往猶太、蓋猶太人正欲加以陷害也。
