One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him,

Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,

He killed James, the brother of John, with the sword.

When the hour had come, he sat down with the twelve apostles.

Simon Peter answered,“ You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”Jesus answered him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, kneeling and asking a certain thing of him.

Jesus sent Peter and John, saying,“ Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”

Therefore she ran and came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them,“ They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have laid him!”

This is the disciple who testifies about these things, and wrote these things. We know that his witness is true.

As he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately,

that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ.And we write these things to you, that our joy may be fulfilled.

Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus,

Passing along by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew, the brother of Simon, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.Jesus said to them,“ Come after me, and I will make you into fishers for men.”

Immediately, when they had come out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

Then Peter, turning around, saw a disciple following. This was the disciple whom Jesus loved, the one who had also leaned on Jesus’ breast at the supper and asked,“ Lord, who is going to betray you?”

They drew lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthias, and he was counted with the eleven apostles.

I John, your brother and partner with you in the oppression, Kingdom, and perseverance in Christ Jesus, was on the isle that is called Patmos because of God’s Word and the testimony of Jesus Christ.

One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was at the table, leaning against Jesus’ breast.

After six days, Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain by themselves.

Jesus looked at him, and said,“ You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas”( which is by interpretation, Peter).

Therefore also the wisdom of God said,‘ I will send to them prophets and apostles; and some of them they will kill and persecute,

The apostles, when they had returned, told him what things they had done. He took them and withdrew apart to a desert region of a city called Bethsaida.

He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;

This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his angel to his servant, John,

Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.
