爾被解時勿慮將如何言、當作何語；屆時必示爾所當言；

But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say,

Whenever they hand you over for trial, do not worry about how to speak or what to say, for what you should say will be given to you at that time.

But when they deliver you up, don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.

And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.And brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death.And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.”

And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say,

“ Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king,“ O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

Therefore do not be anxious, saying,‘ What shall we eat?’ or‘ What shall we drink?’ or‘ What shall we wear?’

But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.

You shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth, and I will be with your mouth and with his mouth and will teach you both what to do.

Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me,“ Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.

But the Lord said to me,“ Do not say,‘ I am only a youth’; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak.

But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name’s sake.This will be your opportunity to bear witness.Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer,for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death.You will be hated by all for my name’s sake.

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them,“ Rulers of the people and elders,if we are being examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed,let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead— by him this man is standing before you well.This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.But seeing the man who was healed standing beside them, they had nothing to say in opposition.

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

But Peter and the apostles answered,“ We must obey God rather than men.The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree.God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”When they heard this, they were enraged and wanted to kill them.

“ Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

But they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

“ I consider myself fortunate that it is before you, King Agrippa, I am going to make my defense today against all the accusations of the Jews,especially because you are familiar with all the customs and controversies of the Jews. Therefore I beg you to listen to me patiently.“ My manner of life from my youth, spent from the beginning among my own nation and in Jerusalem, is known by all the Jews.They have known for a long time, if they are willing to testify, that according to the strictest party of our religion I have lived as a Pharisee.And now I stand here on trial because of my hope in the promise made by God to our fathers,to which our twelve tribes hope to attain, as they earnestly worship night and day. And for this hope I am accused by Jews, O king!Why is it thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead?“ I myself was convinced that I ought to do many things in opposing the name of Jesus of Nazareth.And I did so in Jerusalem. I not only locked up many of the saints in prison after receiving authority from the chief priests, but when they were put to death I cast my vote against them.And I punished them often in all the synagogues and tried to make them blaspheme, and in raging fury against them I persecuted them even to foreign cities.
