信的人必有神蹟隨着他們，就是奉我的名趕鬼；說新方言；手能拿蛇；若喝了甚麼毒物，也必不受害；手按病人，病人就必好了。」

我要將我父所應許的降在你們身上，你們要在城裏等候，直到你們領受從上頭來的能力。」

我已經給你們權柄可以踐踏蛇和蠍子，又勝過仇敵一切的能力，斷沒有甚麼能害你們。

但聖靈降臨在你們身上，你們就必得着能力，並要在耶路撒冷、猶太全地，和撒馬利亞，直到地極，作我的見證。」

約翰說：「若不是從天上賜的，人就不能得甚麼。

到了天亮，叫他的門徒來，就從他們中間挑選十二個人，稱他們為使徒。

惡鬼回答他們說：「耶穌我認識，保羅我也知道。你們卻是誰呢？」

因為我必賜你們口才、智慧，是你們一切敵人所敵不住、駁不倒的。

耶穌說：「我不是揀選了你們十二個門徒嗎？但你們中間有一個是魔鬼。」

耶穌進前來，對他們說：「天上地下所有的權柄都賜給我了。所以，你們要去，使萬民作我的門徒，奉父、子、聖靈的名給他們施洗。

有高大的牆，有十二個門，門上有十二位天使，門上又寫着以色列十二個支派的名字。東邊有三門，北邊有三門，南邊有三門，西邊有三門。城牆有十二根基，根基上有羔羊十二使徒的名字。

你們殺了那生命的主，神卻叫他從死裏復活了；我們都是為這事作見證。我們因信他的名，他的名便叫你們所看見所認識的這人健壯了；正是他所賜的信心，叫這人在你們眾人面前全然好了。

天上現出大異象來：有一個婦人身披日頭，腳踏月亮，頭戴十二星的冠冕。

正如你曾賜給他權柄管理凡有血氣的，叫他將永生賜給你所賜給他的人。

到了晚上，耶穌和十二個門徒坐席。

耶穌又對他們說：「願你們平安！父怎樣差遣了我，我也照樣差遣你們。」說了這話，就向他們吹一口氣，說：「你們受聖靈！你們赦免誰的罪，誰的罪就赦免了；你們留下誰的罪，誰的罪就留下了。」

父愛子，已將萬有交在他手裏。

耶穌說：「我實在告訴你們，你們這跟從我的人，到復興的時候，人子坐在他榮耀的寶座上，你們也要坐在十二個寶座上，審判以色列十二個支派。

不叫我們遇見試探；救我們脫離凶惡。因為國度、權柄、榮耀，全是你的，直到永遠。阿們！

說話之間，那十二個門徒裏的猶大來了，並有許多人帶着刀棒，從祭司長和民間的長老那裏與他同來。
