信的人必有神迹随着他们，就是奉我的名赶鬼，用新方言说话，用手握蛇，喝了什么毒物也不受害，手按病人就必好了。”

我要使我父的应许临到你们身上，你们当在城里等候，直到得着从上面来的能力。”

我已经给你们权柄，去践踏蛇和蝎子，胜过仇敌的一切能力。绝对没有什么能伤害你们了。

可是圣灵降临在你们身上，你们就必领受能力，并且要在耶路撒冷、犹太全地、撒玛利亚，直到地极，作我的见证人。”

约翰回答：“除了从天上赐下来给他的，人就不能得到什么。

天亮以后，他把门徒叫来，从他们中间挑选了十二个人，称他们为使徒，

邪灵回答他们：“耶稣我认识，保罗我也知道；你们是谁？”

因为我必赐给你们口才、智慧，是你们所有的敌人不能抵抗，也不能驳倒的。

耶稣说：“我不是拣选了你们十二个人吗？但你们中间有一个是魔鬼。”

有高大的城墙，有十二个门，门口有十二位天使，门上写着以色列十二支派的名字。东边有三个门，南边有三个门，西边有三个门，北边有三个门。城墙有十二座根基，根基上有羊羔的十二使徒的名字。

你们杀了那‘生命的创始者’，神却使他从死人中复活。我们就是这件事的见证人。是他的名—因信他的名—使你们所看见所认识的这个人强壮了。这从耶稣而来的信心，当着你们众人面前，把他完全医好了。

那时，天上出现了一个奇伟的景象：有一个妇人，身披太阳，脚踏月亮，头戴十二颗星的冠冕。

正如你把管理全人类的权柄给了他，使他赐永生给你所赐给他的人。

到了晚上，耶稣和十二门徒一同吃晚餐。

耶稣又对他们说：“愿你们平安。父怎样差遣了我，我也怎样差遣你们。”说了这话，就向他们吹一口气，说：“你们领受圣灵吧！你们赦免谁的罪，谁的罪就得赦免；你们不赦免谁的罪，谁的罪就不得赦免。”

父爱子，已经把万有交在他手里。

耶稣对他们说：“我实在告诉你们，到了万物更新，人子坐在他荣耀的宝座上的时候，你们这些跟从我的人，也会坐在十二个宝座上，审判以色列的十二个支派。

不要让我们陷入试探，救我们脱离那恶者。’﹙有些后期抄本在此有“因为国度、权柄、荣耀，全是你的，直到永远。阿们”一句。﹚

耶稣还在说话的时候，十二门徒中的犹大，带着一大群拿着刀棒的人来到，他们是祭司长和民间的长老派来的。
