必有神迹随着信我的人，他们能奉我的名赶鬼，说新的方言，又能用手拿蛇，万一喝了什么毒物，也不会受害。他们把手按在病人身上，病人就可痊愈。”

我要把我父所应许的赐给你们。不过，你们要留在城里，直到你们得到天上来的能力。”

我已经给你们权柄，使你们能践踏蛇和蝎子，胜过仇敌的权势，没有什么能伤害你们。

但圣灵降临在你们身上后，你们必得到能力，在耶路撒冷、犹太全境和撒玛利亚，直到地极，做我的见证人。”

约翰回答说：“除非是从天上赏赐下来的，否则人什么都得不到。

城墙高大，有十二个城门，东、北、南、西每面三个门，每个城门都有一位天使把守，门上写着以色列十二支派的名字。

你们杀了生命之主，上帝却使祂从死里复活了。我们都是这事的见证人。你们认识的这个乞丐因为相信耶稣的名，得到了医治。你们都看见了，他能痊愈是因为他信耶稣。

在天上出现了一个奇异的景象：有一个妇人，身披太阳，脚踏月亮，头戴有十二颗星的冠冕。

因为你把管理世人的权柄赐给了祂，使祂可以将永生赐予你交托给祂的人。

傍晚，耶稣和十二个门徒吃晚餐。

耶稣又说：“愿你们平安！父怎样差遣我，我也照样差遣你们。”然后祂向他们吹了一口气，说：“你们领受圣灵吧！你们赦免谁的罪，谁的罪就得到赦免；你们不赦免谁的罪，谁的罪就得不到赦免。”

父爱子，已把万物交在祂手里。

耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们，到万物更新、人子坐在祂荣耀的宝座上时，你们这些跟从我的人也要坐在十二个宝座上，审判以色列的十二个支派。

不要让我们遇见诱惑，救我们脱离那恶者。因为国度、权柄、荣耀都是你的，直到永远。阿们！’

耶稣还在说话的时候，十二门徒中的犹大来了，随行的还有祭司长和民间长老派来的一大群拿着刀棍的人。
