“ Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel.

“ Remember the law my servant Moses gave you. Remember the rules and laws I gave him at Mount Horeb. They were for the whole nation of Israel.

“ Remember the law of my servant Moses, the statutes and rules that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel.

“ Remember to obey the Law of Moses, my servant— all the decrees and regulations that I gave him on Mount Sinai for all Israel.

“ Remember the instruction of Moses my servant, the statutes and ordinances I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel.

“ Remember the Law of Moses My servant, the statutes and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel.

“ Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments.

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.

“ Remember the instruction of Moses My servant, the statutes and ordinances I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel.

“ Remember the law of my servant Moses, to whom at Horeb I gave rules and regulations for all Israel to obey.

the day that you stood before Yahweh your God in Horeb, when Yahweh said to me,“ Assemble the people to me, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.”

Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.

But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.For he who said,“ Do not commit adultery,” also said,“ Do not commit murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.So speak and so do, as men who are to be judged by a law of freedom.For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this:“ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

“ You shall have no other gods before me.“ You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me,and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.“ You shall not misuse the name of Yahweh your God, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name.“ Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.You shall labor six days, and do all your work,but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates;for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day, and made it holy.“ Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.“ You shall not murder.“ You shall not commit adultery.“ You shall not steal.“ You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.“ You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”All the people perceived the thunderings, the lightnings, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled, and stayed at a distance.They said to Moses,“ Speak with us yourself, and we will listen; but don’t let God speak with us, lest we die.”Moses said to the people,“ Don’t be afraid, for God has come to test you, and that his fear may be before you, that you won’t sin.”The people stayed at a distance, and Moses came near to the thick darkness where God was.

“ Don’t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfill.For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished.Whoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the authority,for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil.Therefore you need to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath, but also for conscience’ sake.For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God’s service, continually doing this very thing.Therefore give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if customs, then customs; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.For the commandments,“ You shall not commit adultery,”“ You shall not murder,”“ You shall not steal,”“ You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely,“ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

“ But Abraham said to him,‘ They have Moses and the prophets. Let them listen to them.’“ He said,‘ No, father Abraham, but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’“ He said to him,‘ If they don’t listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if one rises from the dead.’”

“ Now these are the ordinances which you shall set before them:“ If you buy a Hebrew servant, he shall serve six years, and in the seventh he shall go out free without paying anything.If he comes in by himself, he shall go out by himself. If he is married, then his wife shall go out with him.If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master’s, and he shall go out by himself.But if the servant shall plainly say,‘ I love my master, my wife, and my children. I will not go out free;’then his master shall bring him to God, and shall bring him to the door or to the doorpost, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him forever.“ If a man sells his daughter to be a female servant, she shall not go out as the male servants do.If she doesn’t please her master, who has married her to himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. He shall have no right to sell her to a foreign people, since he has dealt deceitfully with her.If he marries her to his son, he shall deal with her as a daughter.If he takes another wife to himself, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, and her marital rights.If he doesn’t do these three things for her, she may go free without paying any money.“ One who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death,but not if it is unintentional, but God allows it to happen; then I will appoint you a place where he shall flee.If a man schemes and comes presumptuously on his neighbor to kill him, you shall take him from my altar, that he may die.“ Anyone who attacks his father or his mother shall be surely put to death.“ Anyone who kidnaps someone and sells him, or if he is found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.“ Anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.“ If men quarrel and one strikes the other with a stone, or with his fist, and he doesn’t die, but is confined to bed;if he rises again and walks around with his staff, then he who struck him shall be cleared; only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall provide for his healing until he is thoroughly healed.“ If a man strikes his servant or his maid with a rod, and he dies under his hand, the man shall surely be punished.Notwithstanding, if his servant gets up after a day or two, he shall not be punished, for the servant is his property.“ If men fight and hurt a pregnant woman so that she gives birth prematurely, and yet no harm follows, he shall be surely fined as much as the woman’s husband demands and the judges allow.But if any harm follows, then you must take life for life,

Behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested him, saying,“ Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”He said to him,“ What is written in the law? How do you read it?”He answered,“ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”He said to him,“ You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.”

One of the scribes came, and heard them questioning together, and knowing that he had answered them well, asked him,“ Which commandment is the greatest of all?”Jesus answered,“ The greatest is,‘ Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one:you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.The second is like this,‘ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”The scribe said to him,“ Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he,and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him,“ You are not far from God’s Kingdom.” No one dared ask him any question after that.

“ Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”Jesus said to him,“‘ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’This is the first and great commandment.A second likewise is this,‘ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”

Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law.

It pleased Yahweh, for his righteousness’ sake, to magnify the law and make it honorable.

Behold, one came to him and said,“ Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”He said to him,“ Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”He said to him,“ Which ones?” Jesus said,“‘ You shall not murder.’‘ You shall not commit adultery.’‘ You shall not steal.’‘ You shall not offer false testimony.’‘ Honor your father and your mother.’ And,‘ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”The young man said to him,“ All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”Jesus said to him,“ If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.

Turn to the law and to the covenant! If they don’t speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.

“ You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life.I don’t receive glory from men.But I know you, that you don’t have God’s love in yourselves.I have come in my Father’s name, and you don’t receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God?“ Don’t think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you, even Moses, on whom you have set your hope.For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote about me.But if you don’t believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”

Yahweh called to Moses, and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying,“ Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them,‘ When anyone of you offers an offering to Yahweh, you shall offer your offering of the livestock, from the herd and from the flock.“‘ If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.He shall kill the bull before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.He shall skin the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay wood in order on the fire;

He shows his word to Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances to Israel.He has not done this for just any nation. They don’t know his ordinances. Praise Yah!

Behold, I have taught you statutes and ordinances, even as Yahweh my God commanded me, that you should do so in the middle of the land where you go in to possess it.Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who shall hear all these statutes and say,“ Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.”
