“ I will come to you in judgment, and I will be ready to witness against sorcerers and adulterers; against those who swear falsely; against those who oppress the widow and the fatherless, and cheat the wage earner; and against those who deny justice to the foreigner. They do not fear Me,” says the Lord of Hosts.

万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们施行审判；我要快快指证那些行邪术的、犯奸淫的、起假誓的、在工钱上欺压雇工的、欺压孤儿寡妇的、屈枉寄居的和不敬畏我的。”

我必蒞臨、行鞫於爾、凡巫覡及淫亂妄誓、負傭值、欺孤寡、屈賓旅、而不畏我者、我必亟證之、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

萬有之主耶和華曰、我必涖臨、降災於爾、凡巫覡行淫之子、妄誓之輩、奪傭人之值、虐遇孤寡、使賓旅不得伸其枉屈、而不敬畏我者、必速降以罰。

萬有之主曰、我必涖臨爾曹、施行審鞫、必速譴責、必速譴責原文作必亟為證以攻凡有邪術者、犯姦淫者、發假誓者、負負或作奪傭人值者、虐遇孤寡者、屈枉客旅而不敬畏我者、

“ So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice, but do not fear me,” says the Lord Almighty.

“ So I will come and put you on trial. I will be quick to bring charges against all of you,” says the Lord who rules over all.“ I will bring charges against you sinful people who do not have any respect for me. That includes those who practice evil magic. It includes those who commit adultery and those who tell lies in court. It includes those who cheat workers out of their pay. It includes those who treat widows badly. It also includes those who mistreat children whose fathers have died. And it includes those who take away the rights of outsiders in the courts.

“ Then I will draw near to you for judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, against those who thrust aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts.

“ At that time I will put you on trial. I am eager to witness against all sorcerers and adulterers and liars. I will speak against those who cheat employees of their wages, who oppress widows and orphans, or who deprive the foreigners living among you of justice, for these people do not fear me,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

“ I will come to you in judgment, and I will be ready to witness against sorcerers and adulterers; against those who swear falsely; against those who oppress the hired worker, the widow, and the fatherless; and against those who deny justice to the resident alien. They do not fear me,” says the LORD of Armies.

“ Then I will come near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, those who oppress the wage earner in his wages or the widow or the orphan, and those who turn away the stranger from justice and do not fear Me,” says the Lord of armies.

And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness Against sorcerers, Against adulterers, Against perjurers, Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, And against those who turn away an alien— Because they do not fear Me,” Says the Lord of hosts.

And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the sojourner from his right, and fear not me, saith Jehovah of hosts.

I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the perjurers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don’t fear me,” says Yahweh of Armies.

You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.Brothers, do not complain about one another, so that you will not be judged. Look, the judge stands at the door!

Marriage must be respected by all, and the marriage bed kept undefiled, because God will judge immoral people and adulterers.

Do not misuse the name of the Lord your God, because the Lord will not leave anyone unpunished who misuses His name.

“ You must not oppress your neighbor or rob him. The wages due a hired hand must not remain with you until morning.

Look! The pay that you withheld from the workers who reaped your fields cries out, and the outcry of the harvesters has reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts.

‘ The one who denies justice to a foreigner, a fatherless child, or a widow is cursed.’ And all the people will say,‘ Amen!’

Do not deny justice to a foreigner or fatherless child, and do not take a widow’s garment as security.

Do not murder.Do not commit adultery.Do not steal.Do not give dishonest testimony against your neighbor.Do not covet your neighbor’s wife or desire your neighbor’s house, his field, his male or female slave, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

And why not say, just as some people slanderously claim we say,“ Let us do what is evil so that good may come”? Their condemnation is deserved!

Yet you ask,“ For what reason?” Because the Lord has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth. You have acted treacherously against her, though she was your marriage partner and your wife by covenant.

because they have committed an outrage in Israel by committing adultery with their neighbors’ wives and have spoken a lie in My name, which I did not command them. I am He who knows, and I am a witness.” This is the Lord’s declaration.

And Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied about them: Look! The Lord comes with thousands of His holy onesto execute judgment on all and to convict them of all their ungodly acts that they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things ungodly sinners have said against Him.

On the third day Joseph said to them,“ I fear God— do this and you will live.

Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity,idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions,envy, drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar. I tell you about these things in advance— as I told you before— that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

You have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet you ask,“ How have we wearied Him?” When you say,“ Everyone who does what is evil is good in the Lord’s sight, and He is pleased with them,” or“ Where is the God of justice?”

Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or anyone practicing homosexuality,no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom.

Then he said to me,“ This is the curse that is going out over the whole land, for every thief will be removed according to what is written on one side, and everyone who swears falsely will be removed according to what is written on the other side.I will send it out,”— this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts—“ and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. It will stay inside his house and destroy it along with its timbers and stones.”

An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked person: There is no dread of God before his eyes,

For we know the One who has said, Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, and again, The Lord will judge His people.It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!

To fear the Lord is to hate evil. I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct, and perverse speech.

Wickedness is atoned for by loyalty and faithfulness, and one turns from evil by the fear of the Lord.

Listen, My people, and I will admonish you. Israel, if you would only listen to Me!

But the other answered, rebuking him:“ Don’t you even fear God, since you are undergoing the same punishment?

Now above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. Your“ yes” must be“ yes,” and your“ no” must be“ no,” so that you won’t fall under judgment.

“ Look, every prince of Israel within you has used his strength to shed blood.Father and mother are treated with contempt, and the foreign resident is exploited within you. The fatherless and widow are oppressed in you.You despise My holy things and profane My Sabbaths.There are men within you who slander in order to shed blood. People who live in you eat at the mountain shrines; they commit immoral acts within you.Men within you have sexual intercourse with their father’s wife and violate women during their menstrual impurity.One man within you commits a detestable act with his neighbor’s wife; another wickedly defiles his daughter-in-law; and yet another violates his sister, his father’s daughter.People who live in you accept bribes in order to shed blood. You take interest and profit on a loan and brutally extort your neighbors. You have forgotten Me.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.

before the Lord, for He is coming— for He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with His faithfulness.

The governors who preceded me had heavily burdened the people, taking food and wine from them, as well as a pound of silver. Their subordinates also oppressed the people, but I didn’t do this, because of the fear of God.

The Hebrew midwives, however, feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt had told them; they let the boys live.

Listen, all you peoples; pay attention, earth and everyone in it! The Lord God will be a witness against you, the Lord, from His holy temple.

“ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You lock up the kingdom of heaven from people. For you don’t go in, and you don’t allow those entering to go in.

Abraham replied,“ I thought,‘ There is absolutely no fear of God in this place. They will kill me because of my wife.’

A man or a woman who is a medium or a spiritist must be put to death. They are to be stoned; their blood is on their own hands.”

before the Lord, for He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world righteously and the peoples fairly.

If a man commits adultery with a married woman— if he commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife— both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

This means one must not transgress against and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger of all these offenses, as we also previously told and warned you.

Don’t move an ancient boundary marker, and don’t encroach on the fields of the fatherless,for their Redeemer is strong, and He will take up their case against you.

“ You must not exploit a foreign resident or oppress him, since you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.“ You must not mistreat any widow or fatherless child.If you do mistreat them, they will no doubt cry to Me, and I will certainly hear their cry.My anger will burn, and I will kill you with the sword; then your wives will be widows and your children fatherless.

But you should select from all the people able men, God-fearing, trustworthy, and hating bribes. Place them over the people as commanders of thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens.

But the cowards, unbelievers, vile, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars— their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Our God is coming; He will not be silent! Devouring fire precedes Him, and a storm rages around Him.On high, He summons heaven and earth in order to judge His people.“ Gather My faithful ones to Me, those who made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”The heavens proclaim His righteousness, for God is the Judge. Selah“ Listen, My people, and I will speak; I will testify against you, Israel. I am God, your God.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord God says to them: See, I Myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.Since you have pushed with flank and shoulder and butted all the weak ones with your horns until you scattered them all over,I will save My flock, and they will no longer be prey for you. I will judge between one sheep and another.

“ Do you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and follow other gods that you have not known?Then do you come and stand before Me in this house called by My name and say,‘ We are delivered, so we can continue doing all these detestable acts’?

“ Do not oppress a hired hand who is poor and needy, whether one of your brothers or one of the foreigners residing within a town in your land.You are to pay him his wages each day before the sun sets, because he is poor and depends on them. Otherwise he will cry out to the Lord against you, and you will be held guilty.

Woe for the one who builds his palace through unrighteousness, his upper rooms through injustice, who makes his fellow man serve without pay and will not give him his wages,who says,“ I will build myself a massive palace, with spacious upper rooms.” He will cut windows in it, and it will be paneled with cedar and painted with vermilion.Are you a king because you excel in cedar? Didn’t your father eat and drink and administer justice and righteousness? Then it went well with him.He took up the case of the poor and needy, then it went well. Is this not what it means to know Me? This is the Lord’s declaration.But you have eyes and a heart for nothing except your own dishonest profit, shedding innocent blood and committing extortion and oppression.

Don’t rob a poor man because he is poor, and don’t crush the oppressed at the gate,for the Lord will take up their case and will plunder those who plunder them.
