Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name.

Those who had respect for the Lord talked with one another. And the Lord heard them. A list of people and what they did was written in a book in front of him. It included the names of those who respected the Lord and honored him.

Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name.

Then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name.

At that time those who feared the LORD spoke to one another. The LORD took notice and listened. So a book of remembrance was written before him for those who feared the LORD and had high regard for his name.

Then those who feared Yahweh spoke one with another; and Yahweh listened, and heard, and a book of memory was written before him, for those who feared Yahweh, and who honored his name.

Thou numberest my wanderings: Put thou my tears into thy bottle; Are they not in thy book?

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.

But unto you that fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings; and ye shall go forth, and gambol as calves of the stall.

Who shall not fear, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy; for all the nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy righteous acts have been made manifest.

and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works;

And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the sojourner from his right, and fear not me, saith Jehovah of hosts.

So the church throughout all Judæa and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being edified; and, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, was multiplied.

The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

And Jehovah said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in the midst thereof.

Wherefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as also ye do.

Then called Esther for Hathach, one of the king’s chamberlains, whom he had appointed to attend upon her, and charged him to go to Mordecai, to know what this was, and why it was.So Hathach went forth to Mordecai unto the broad place of the city, which was before the king’s gate.And Mordecai told him of all that had happened unto him, and the exact sum of the money that Haman had promised to pay to the king’s treasuries for the Jews, to destroy them.Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given out in Shushan to destroy them, to show it unto Esther, and to declare it unto her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before him, for her people.And Hathach came and told Esther the words of Mordecai.Then Esther spake unto Hathach, and gave him a message unto Mordecai, saying:All the king’s servants, and the people of the king’s provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law for him, that he be put to death, except those to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days.And they told to Mordecai Esther’s words.Then Mordecai bade them return answer unto Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews.For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then will relief and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place, but thou and thy father’s house will perish: and who knoweth whether thou art not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?Then Esther bade them return answer unto Mordecai,Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast in like manner; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.So Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him.

And being let go, they came to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said unto them.And they, when they heard it, lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, O Lord, thou that didst make the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that in them is:who by the Holy Spirit, by the mouth of our father David thy servant, didst say, Why did the Gentiles rage, And the peoples imagine vain things?The kings of the earth set themselves in array, And the rulers were gathered together, Against the Lord, and against his Anointed:for of a truth in this city against thy holy Servant Jesus, whom thou didst anoint, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together,to do whatsoever thy hand and thy council foreordained to come to pass.And now, Lord, look upon their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants to speak thy word with all boldness,while thou stretchest forth thy hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of thy holy Servant Jesus.And when they had prayed, the place was shaken wherein they were gathered together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spake the word of God with boldness.And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and soul: and not one of them said that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.And with great power gave the apostles their witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

a devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, who gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always.

The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous, And his ears are open unto their cry.

As for the saints that are in the earth, They are the excellent in whom is all my delight.

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be upon thy heart;and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thy hand, and they shall be for frontlets between thine eyes.

Come, and hear, all ye that fear God, And I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

Oh that my words were now written! Oh that they were inscribed in a book!That with an iron pen and lead They were graven in the rock for ever!But as for me I know that my Redeemer liveth, And at last he will stand up upon the earth:

Philip saith unto him, Come and see.Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

I am a companion of all them that fear thee, And of them that observe thy precepts.

Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:that they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his companions should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two- edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.And there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

speaking one to another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord;

Jehovah taketh pleasure in them that fear him, In those that hope in his lovingkindness.

Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Jehovah, have we waited for thee; to thy name, even to thy memorial name, is the desire of our soul.

Walk with wise men, and thou shalt be wise; But the companion of fools shall smart for it.

Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel.

Behold, the eye of Jehovah is upon them that fear him, Upon them that hope in his lovingkindness;

Yea and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things came to pass.Moreover certain women of our company amazed us, having been early at the tomb;and when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.And certain of them that were with us went to the tomb, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.And he said unto them, O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!Behooved it not the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they were going: and he made as though he would go further.And they constrained him, saying, Abide with us; for it is toward evening, and the day is now far spent. And he went in to abide with them.And it came to pass, when he had sat down with them to meat, he took the bread and blessed; and breaking it he gave to them.And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

And it will come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of Jehovah will carry thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he will slay me: but I thy servant fear Jehovah from my youth.

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousands of thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me Thy comforts delight my soul.

I will sing unto Jehovah as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.

And coming up at that very hour she gave thanks unto God, and spake of him to all them that were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.

And when the day of Pentecost was now come, they were all together in one place.

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all they that do his commandments: His praise endureth for ever.Praise ye Jehovah. Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah, That delighteth greatly in his commandments.

looking carefully lest there be any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the many be defiled;

And he said, Lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him; for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from me.

And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be longsuffering toward all.

but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called To- day; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin:
