「我以焚風和霉爛攻擊你們，你們許多的菜園、葡萄園、無花果樹、橄欖樹屢屢被剪蟲所吃，你們仍不歸向我。」這是耶和華說的。

田野的走獸啊，不要懼怕，因為曠野的草已生長，樹木結果，無花果樹、葡萄樹也都效力。

葡萄樹枯乾，無花果樹衰殘，石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹，田野一切的樹木都枯乾；眾人的喜樂盡都消逝。

剪蟲吃剩的，蝗蟲來吃；蝗蟲吃剩的，蝻子來吃；蝻子吃剩的，螞蚱來吃。

我要使北方來的隊伍遠離你們，將他們趕到乾旱荒蕪之地：前隊趕入東海，後隊趕入西海；臭氣上升，惡臭騰空。耶和華果然行了大事！

雖然無花果樹不發旺，葡萄樹不結果，橄欖樹也不收成，田地不出糧食，圈中絕了羊，棚內也沒有牛；

因為他們要平安撒種，葡萄樹要結果子，土地必有出產，天也必降甘露。我要使這餘民享受這一切。

我必使他們全然滅絕；葡萄樹上必沒有葡萄，無花果樹上沒有果子，葉子也必枯乾。我所賜給他們的，必離他們而去。這是耶和華說的。」

牠毀壞我的葡萄樹，撕裂我的無花果樹，剝光又丟棄，使枝條露白。
