耶和华说：‘我用旱风、霉烂和冰雹击打你们，和你们手里的一切工作，你们还是不归向我。

主耶和华向我这样显示：看哪！替王收割之后，田产又开始生长时，主造出一群蝗虫。蝗虫吃尽地上的农产时，我说：“主耶和华啊！求你宽恕，因雅各太弱小，怎能站立得住呢？”耶和华对这事改变心意，耶和华说：“这事不会发生。”

“我曾多次用热风和霉烂击打你们的园子和葡萄园，叫蝗虫吃光你们的无花果树和橄榄树；但你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华的宣告。

田野的走兽啊，你们不要惧怕，因为旷野的草场又发青了，树木又结果子了，无花果树和葡萄树也都效力了。

葡萄树枯干，无花果树衰残；石榴树、棕树、苹果树，田野所有的树木都枯干，因此欢乐从人间消失了。

剪虫剩下的，蝗虫吃了；蝗虫剩下的，蝻子吃了；蝻子剩下的，蚂蚱吃了。

我要使北方来的军队远离你们；我要把他们驱逐到干旱荒凉之地，他们的前队赶入东海，他们的后队赶入西海；并且他们的臭气上升，他们的腥味上腾，因为耶和华行了大事。

无花果树纵不发芽，葡萄树不结果，橄榄树无所出，田里无收成，圈内的羊被剪除，棚里也没有牛，

因为五谷必生长繁茂，葡萄树必结果子，地土必出土产，天也必降下甘露，我要使这些余剩的子民承受这一切。

我要彻底除掉他们的庄稼；葡萄树上必没有葡萄，无花果树上必没有无花果，叶子也必枯干。我赐给他们的，都离开他们过去了。’”这是耶和华的宣告。

他们使我的葡萄树荒凉，折断了我的无花果树，把树皮剥尽，丢在一旁，使枝条露白。
