“ For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth.

以我所諭摩西之命、訓迪以色列族。○

人曰、祭司有律例、智士有箴規、先知有預言、如耶利米其言不可信、予當批其頰、而謀害之。

惟主之僕勿爭競、必慈以處眾、施教則善、受侮則忍、逆理者、迪以柔和、庶上帝錫以悛心、俾識真理、

如拒此命、不第拒人、乃拒上帝、且上帝以厥聖神賜於我儕、

耶和華之使哈基、遂以耶和華之命、傳之民云、耶和華曰、我必眷佑爾眾、

祭司利未人必適其所、蓋利未人為爾上帝耶和華所簡、以供服役、籲其名而祝告、凡諸爭競加害之事、為利未人定擬。

如爾邑中有訟事、為流血、為爭競、為加害、爾所難鞫者、則必詣爾上帝耶和華特簡之室、見祭司利未人、或在位之刑官、請其諮諏、為爾聽訟、彼在耶和華特簡之室、指示其故、爾必遵言以行。彼以法度典章、明告於爾、爾必遵循、勿偏於左、勿偏於右。

萬有之主耶和華曰、當問法於祭司曰、浸假有人、衿裹胙肉、以與他餅酒油湯、及諸食物相和、則是物為潔否、祭司曰、否、曰、浸假有人、因捫尸骸而蒙不潔、偶捫上所言諸物、則是物將為不潔否、祭司必曰不潔、

我誠告爾、接我所遣者、即接我、接我、即接遣我者也、○

以士喇克誠厥心、學耶和華律例、謹恪遵行、以法度禮儀、示以色列族。

我躬艱難、爾不藐視、不厭棄、乃接我如上帝使者、亦接我如基督耶穌、

是吾儕基督使、上帝使我勸爾、吾代基督求爾、與上帝復親、

婢隨保羅及我儕、呼曰、此人至高上帝僕、以救道傳我、

耶穌又曰、爾眾平安、我遣爾、猶父遺我、

七月朔、眾男女、凡能聽而知之者、咸在水門衢、祭司以士喇抱書至、自朝至於日中、當眾前誦讀、僉聆斯義。

爾雖為我耶和華所遣之僕、所愛之民、無如爾聾爾瞽、甚於諸人、

亦使利未人、示罵雅、尼大尼、西巴地、亞撒黑、示米喇末、約拿單、亞多尼雅、多庇亞、奪亞多尼雅、偕祭司以利沙馬、約蘭、執耶和華律例之書、遍猶大諸邑、訓迪民人。

我所遣之僕、有言耶路撒冷、必有居人、猶大眾邑、必有建造、荒蕪之區、必復其初、我必使應其言。

利未人、以耶和華道、訓迪民人、希西家勞之。歷七日、眾會享盛饌、獻祭以酬恩、於列祖之上帝耶和華前、自陳其過。

萬有之主耶和華曰、我遣使者、備道於我前、爾所求所悅之上主、盟約之天使、果將至矣、率入厥殿、

人患癩疾、當謹遵祭司利未人之例、循我所命。

耶和華曰、如爾歸誠、則可為我僕、如爾能別善惡、則可傳我命、民當從爾、爾勿狥民。

彼必立於祭司、以利亞撒前、以利亞撒用烏陵、諮諏我意、彼及以色列會眾、必聽斯命而出入。
