爾則知我傳斯命於爾、乃堅我與利未所立之約、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

使爾知我傳斯命、令爾悔改、而我與利未人所立之約、可以恆存、我萬有之主耶和華已言之矣。

使爾知我傳斯命於爾、致我與利未人所立之約、可以恆存、或作使爾知我曾傳斯命於爾曾與利未人立約萬有之主已言之矣、

因此，主萬軍之耶和華，以色列的大能者宣告：「啊！我要向我的敵人雪恨，向我的仇敵施行報復！我必轉手對付你，如同用鹼煉淨你的渣滓，除盡你一切的雜質。我必恢復你的審判官，像起初一樣；也必恢復你的謀士，如起始一般；之後，你必被稱為『公義之城』、『忠信之城』。」錫安必因著耶和華的公正蒙救贖，城中悔改的人也必因著耶和華的公義蒙救贖。但叛逆者和罪人必一同敗亡，離棄耶和華的必將滅絕。

『連那沾在我們腳上的你們城裡的塵土，我們也要當著你們擦掉，不過你們應當知道：神的國近了。』

因此藉著以下的事，雅各的罪孽才得以贖清：他要使祭壇的所有石頭都變為粉碎的灰石，使亞舍拉和香壇不再豎立——這必成為他罪被除掉的全部果效。

所有屬於我而不結果子的枝條，他就除掉；而所有結果子的，他就修剪乾淨，好讓它結出更多的果子。

他手裡拿著揚穀的杴，要揚淨他的打穀場，把他的麥子收進倉庫，卻把糠秕用不滅的火燒掉。」

耶和華啊，你的手高舉，他們卻不看！願他們看到你對子民的熱心就蒙羞；願你為敵人所預備的烈火吞噬他們！
