他玛把灰尘撒在头上，撕裂所穿的彩衣，以手抱头，一面行走，一面哭喊。她胞兄押沙龙问她说：“莫非你哥哥暗嫩与你亲近了吗？我妹妹，暂且不要作声，他是你的哥哥，不要将这事放在心上。”他玛就孤孤单单地住在她胞兄押沙龙家里。

耶和华说：“你们所献的许多祭物与我何益呢？公绵羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂油，我已经够了；公牛的血，羊羔的血，公山羊的血，我都不喜悦。“你们来朝见我，谁向你们讨这些，使你们践踏我的院宇呢？你们不要再献虚浮的供物。香品是我所憎恶的；月朔和安息日，并宣召的大会，也是我所憎恶的；作罪孽，又守严肃会，我也不能容忍。你们的月朔和节期，我心里恨恶，我都以为麻烦；我担当，便不耐烦。你们举手祷告，我必遮眼不看；就是你们多多地祈祷，我也不听。你们的手都满了杀人的血。

恶人献祭，为耶和华所憎恶；正直人祈祷，为他所喜悦。

从示巴出的乳香，从远方出的菖蒲奉来给我有何益呢？你们的燔祭不蒙悦纳；你们的平安祭，我也不喜悦。”

你要谨慎，不可心里起恶念，说：‘第七年的豁免年快到了’，你便恶眼看你穷乏的弟兄，什么都不给他，以致他因你求告耶和华，罪便归于你了。

恶人的祭物是可憎的；何况他存恶意来献呢？
