Ye say also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith Jehovah of hosts; and ye have brought that which was taken by violence, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye bring the offering: should I accept this at your hand? saith Jehovah.

你们又说：‘唉，真麻烦！’你们就嗤之以鼻。”耶和华说：“你们把抢来的、瘸腿的和有病的带来作礼物，我怎能从你们的手中收受呢？”

你们不但说：‘看，真烦哪！’而且对主的桌子嗤之以鼻。你们把抢来的、瘸腿的、患病的动物带来——竟然带来作供物！难道我会从你们的手中悦纳它们吗？”这是耶和华说的。

你們還心裏說：「哼，多麼膩啊！」遂嗤之以鼻！萬軍之永恆主說。你們將被搶奪過的、瘸腿的、有病的帶來，獻為供物，我哪能從你們手中收納這個呢？永恆主說。

萬軍之耶和華曰、爾謂行此諸事、何其煩勞、遂輕慢之、耶和華曰、爾以所強奪者、及跛牲病牲、獻之為祭、我豈由爾手而納之乎、

萬有之主耶和華曰、爾曰、供饌徒勞、何益之有、遂以跛疾斷傷之牲、獻之為祭、我耶和華豈悅納爾哉、

萬有之主曰、爾屢言獻祭勞煩、遂加輕慢、更以搶奪跛足有疾之牲、獻之為祭、我豈納之於爾手乎、主已言之矣、

And you say,‘ What a burden!’ and you sniff at it contemptuously,” says the Lord Almighty.“ When you bring injured, lame or diseased animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands?” says the Lord.

You say,‘ What a heavy load our work is!’ And you turn up your nose. You act as if you hate working for me,” says the Lord who rules over all.“ You bring animals that have been hurt. Or you bring disabled or sick animals. Then you dare to offer them to me as sacrifices! Should I accept them from you?” says the Lord.

But you say,‘ What a weariness this is,’ and you snort at it, says the Lord of hosts. You bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the Lord.

You say,‘ It’s too hard to serve the Lord,’ and you turn up your noses at my commands,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.“ Think of it! Animals that are stolen and crippled and sick are being presented as offerings! Should I accept from you such offerings as these?” asks the Lord.

You also say,‘ Look, what a nuisance!’ And you scorn it,” says the LORD of Armies.“ You bring stolen, lame, or sick animals. You bring this as an offering! Am I to accept that from your hands?” asks the LORD.

You also say,‘ See, how tiresome it is!’ And you view it as trivial,” says the Lord of armies,“ and you bring what was taken by robbery and what is lame or sick; so you bring the offering! Should I accept it from your hand?” says the Lord.

You also say,‘ Oh, what a weariness!’ And you sneer at it,” Says the Lord of hosts.“ And you bring the stolen, the lame, and the sick; Thus you bring an offering! Should I accept this from your hand?” Says the Lord.

You also say:“ Look, what a nuisance!”“ And you scorn it,” says the Lord of Hosts.“ You bring stolen, lame, or sick animals. You bring this as an offering! Am I to accept that from your hands?” asks the Lord.

You also say,‘ How tiresome it is.’ You turn up your nose at it,” says the LORD who rules over all,“ and instead bring what is stolen, lame, or sick. You bring these things for an offering! Should I accept this from you?” asks the LORD.

You say also,‘ Behold, what a weariness it is!’ and you have sniffed at it”, says Yahweh of Armies;“ and you have brought that which was taken by violence, the lame, and the sick; thus you bring the offering. Should I accept this at your hand?” says Yahweh.

O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.

But there were some that had indignation among themselves, saying, To what purpose hath this waste of the ointment been made?For this ointment might have been sold for above three hundred shillings, and given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen of men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward.

When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to trample my courts?

Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods that ye have not known,and come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered; that ye may do all these abominations?Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it, saith Jehovah.

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest thou not watch one hour?Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar. And ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of Jehovah is contemptible.And when ye offer the blind for sacrifice, it is no evil! and when ye offer the lame and sick, it is no evil! Present it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee? or will he accept thy person? saith Jehovah of hosts.

that ye may be accepted, ye shall offer a male without blemish, of the bullocks, of the sheep, or of the goats.But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace- offerings unto Jehovah to accomplish a vow, or for a freewill- offering, of the herd or of the flock, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto Jehovah, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto Jehovah.Either a bullock or a lamb that hath anything superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill- offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

Yet thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.Thou hast not brought me of thy sheep for burnt- offerings; neither hast thou honored me with thy sacrifices. I have not burdened thee with offerings, nor wearied thee with frankincense.

Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation, and honorest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Add your burnt- offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat ye flesh.For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt- offerings or sacrifices:but this thing I commanded them, saying, Hearken unto my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people; and walk ye in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

And this again ye do: ye cover the altar of Jehovah with tears, with weeping, and with sighing, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, neither receiveth it with good will at your hand.

And when ye pray, ye shall not be as the hypocrites: for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward.

Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and in the seventh month, even these seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?And when ye eat, and when ye drink, do not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

I hate, I despise your feasts, and I will take no delight in your solemn assemblies.Yea, though ye offer me your burnt- offerings and meal- offerings, I will not accept them; neither will I regard the peace- offerings of your fat beasts.Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

The priests shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself, or is torn, whether it be bird or beast.

Take heed that ye do not your righteousness before men, to be seen of them: else ye have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.When therefore thou doest alms, sound not a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward.

Then said I, Ah Lord Jehovah! behold, my soul hath not been polluted; for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell grain? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and dealing falsely with balances of deceit;

Among the smooth stones of the valley is thy portion; they, they are thy lot; even to them hast thou poured a drink- offering, thou hast offered an oblation. Shall I be appeased for these things?

And if it have any blemish, as if it be lame or blind, any ill blemish whatsoever, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto Jehovah thy God.

That which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts, he shall not eat, to defile himself therewith: I am Jehovah.
