And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air[ have] nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay[ his] head.

耶稣说：“狐狸有洞，天空的飞鸟有窝，人子却没有栖身的地方。”

耶稣对他说：“狐狸有洞，天空的飞鸟有窝，人子却没有枕头的地方。”

耶穌說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，只是人子沒有枕頭的地方。」

耶穌對他說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」

耶穌對他說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」

耶穌對他說：「狐狸有洞，飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有安枕之處。」

耶穌說：“狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有棲身的地方。”

耶穌對他說：『狐狸有洞，空中的飛鳥有窩，惟獨人子沒有枕頭的地方！』

耶穌對他說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」

耶穌曰、狐有穴、鳥有巢、惟人子無枕首之所也、

耶穌曰、狐狸有穴、飛鳥有巢、惟人之子、無枕首之所也、

耶穌曰、狐狸有穴、飛鳥有巢、惟人子無枕首之所、

耶穌應之曰：『狐有丘、鳥有巢、人子獨無枕首地。』

Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens. Birds have nests. But the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

But Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.”

Jesus told him,“ Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Jesus told him,“ Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

If any[ man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have[ sufficient] to finish[ it]?Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish[ it], all that behold[ it] begin to mock him,Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air[ have] nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay[ his] head.

And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he[ is] an holy God; he[ is] a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.And Joshua said unto the people, Ye[ are] witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said,[ We are] witnesses.

Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard[ this], said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?[ What] and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you,[ they] are spirit, and[ they] are life.But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.From that[ time] many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young,[ even] thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
