Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

Jesus told him,“ Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

我亲爱的弟兄们，请听：神不是拣选了在世上被认为贫穷的人吗？这些人却在信心上富足，而且是承受神的国的人。这国是神应许赐给爱他的人的。

“如果有人到我这里来，爱我不超过爱（“爱我不超过爱”原文作“不恨”）自己的父母、妻子、儿女、兄弟、姊妹，甚至自己的性命，就不能作我的门徒。凡不背着自己的十字架跟随我的，也不能作我的门徒。你们当中有谁要盖一座楼，不先坐下计算费用，能不能盖成呢？恐怕安了地基，而不能完成，所有看见的人都讥笑他，说：‘这个人开了工，却不能完工。’或者一个王去和别的王打仗，哪有不先坐下想想，能否用一万兵去抵抗那领两万来攻打他的呢？如果不能，就该趁对方还远的时候，派使者去谈判和平的条件。这样，你们中间不论谁，如果不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的门徒。

你们是知道我们的主耶稣基督的恩典的：他本来富足，却为你们成了贫穷，要使你们因他的贫穷成为富足。

耶稣回答：“狐狸有洞，天空的飞鸟有窝，但人子却没有栖身﹙“栖身”原文作“枕头”。﹚的地方。”

约书亚对众民说：“你们不能事奉耶和华，因为他是圣洁的神；他是嫉妒的神，他必不赦免你们的过犯和罪恶。如果你们离弃耶和华，去事奉外族人的神，那么在耶和华赐福给你们之后，他必转而降祸与你们，把你们消灭。”众民对约书亚说：“不，我们必定事奉耶和华。”约书亚对众民说：“你们选择了耶和华，要事奉他，你们为自己作证吧。”他们说：“我们愿意作证。”

他的门徒中，有许多人听了，就说：“这话很难，谁能接受呢？”耶稣心里知道门徒为了这事议论纷纷，就对他们说：“这话使你们动摇吗？如果你们看见人子升到他原来所在的地方，又怎样呢？使人活的是灵，肉体是无济于事的。我对你们所说的话是灵、是生命。然而你们中间却有不信的人。”原来从起初耶稣就知道那些不信的是谁，那要把他出卖的又是谁。耶稣跟着说：“所以我对你们说过，如果不是父所赐的，没有人能到我这里来。”从此，他的门徒中有许多人退去了，不再与他同行。

万军之耶和华，我的王我的神啊！在你的祭坛那里，麻雀找到了住处，燕子也为自己找到了安置幼雏的巢。

耶稣听了，就告诉他：“你还缺少一件，应当变卖你一切所有的，分给穷人，你就必定有财宝在天上，而且你还要来跟从我。”他听见这话，非常忧愁，因为他十分富有。
