若爾心中尚存忌刻好勝之意、則勿自誇為智、以欺真理。此之為智、非自上來、乃出自世俗、血氣與魔鬼耳。蓋一有忌刻好勝之心、則必啟爭端、而生紛亂、放僻邪侈、無不為已。惟智慧之自上來者、本質純粹、故其為德也、和平雍容、溫柔恭順、富於惻隱、多結善果、而無偏激矯情之弊。和平之人、寧靜播種弗助弗忘、終必收穫正義之果也。

此固我親愛兄弟之所知也。人人應敏於聽、而訥於言。慎毋動怒、人之忿怒、非所以成全天主之正義也。

祈主一視彼眾之威脅、使爾僕以大無畏精神、宣揚爾道；求爾援手、俾治疾病、並托聖子耶穌之名以行神蹟。』

吾見其一首似已中傷瀕死、後竟醫治獲愈；普世奇之、翕然風從。人見龍之以權授獸、
