John answered and said,“ Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name; and we tried to prevent him, because he does not follow along with us.”

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out demons in thy name; and we forbade him, because he followeth not with us.

John responded,“ Master, we saw someone driving out demons in Your name, and we tried to stop him because he does not follow us.”

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.

And a young man ran and told Moses, and said,“ Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”So Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, one of his choice men, answered and said,“ Moses my Lord, forbid them!”Then Moses said to him,“ Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all the LORD’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!”

saying,“ Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us!”

People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them.When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them,“ Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. (niv)

Simon answered,“ Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” (niv)
