Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.

Now we understand that you know everything, and there’s no need to question you. From this we believe that you came from God.”

You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.

Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he asked them,“ Why do you have such evil thoughts in your hearts?

One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him.But Jesus said,“ Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left.

I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches out the thoughts and intentions of every person. And I will give to each of you whatever you deserve.

A third time he asked him,“ Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said,“ Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Then feed my sheep.

Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them.Then he said,“ I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart.

When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself,“ If this man were a prophet, he would know what kind of woman is touching him. She’s a sinner!”Then Jesus answered his thoughts.“ Simon,” he said to the Pharisee,“ I have something to say to you.”“ Go ahead, Teacher,” Simon replied.

Dear brothers and sisters, don’t be childish in your understanding of these things. Be innocent as babies when it comes to evil, but be mature in understanding matters of this kind.

So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech.Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment,

When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them,“ Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”
