Jesus knew what they were thinking. So he took a little child and had the child stand beside him.

“ I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.”

You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said,“ Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?

Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them.Jesus said,“ Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.

I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.

The third time he said to him,“ Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time,“ Do you love me?” He said,“ Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my sheep.

He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.And he said:“ Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.

When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself,“ If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is— that she is a sinner.”Jesus answered him,“ Simon, I have something to tell you.”“ Tell me, teacher,” he said.

Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.

Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,

When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them,“ Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
