They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.As the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.When Peter saw it, he responded to the people,“ You men of Israel, why do you marvel at this man? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.

For he was amazed, and all who were with him, at the catch of fish which they had caught;

For we didn’t follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

He said to them,“ Where is your faith?” Being afraid they marveled, saying to one another,“ Who is this then, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?”

He got into the boat with them; and the wind ceased, and they were very amazed among themselves, and marveled;

While they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them,“ The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men,

Yahweh of Armies says:“ If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvelous in my eyes?” says Yahweh of Armies.

Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying,“ We have seen strange things today.”

I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.
