中一人呼曰、夫子、祈顧我子、乃我獨生者、

中一人呼曰、求師顧我子、彼乃我獨生者、

一人自人叢中呼曰：『夫子、祈爾垂顧吾兒！予惟此一子、

A man in the crowd called out,“ Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child.

And, behold, a man of the company cried out, saying, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son: for he is mine only child.

Then a man from the crowd cried out,“ Teacher, I beg you to look at my son– he is my only child!

Behold, a man from the crowd called out, saying,“ Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child.

將近城門的時候，有一個死了的人被人扛出來；是他母親的獨生子；母親又是寡婦；城裏有好大羣的人跟着她。

這人聽說耶穌從猶太到了加利利，就來見他，求他下去醫治他的兒子；因為他那兒子快要死了。

忽有一個迦南婦人從那境內出來，嚷着說：『主啊，大衛的子孫哪，可憐我；我女兒被鬼附得很苦呢。』

忽有一個人來了，他名叫睚魯；這個人是個會堂的管事。他俯伏在耶穌腳旁，求耶穌進他的家；因為他有一個獨生女兒、約十二歲、快要死了。耶穌去的時候，羣眾擠着他。

我們對我主說：「我們有父親，已經年老，還有他老年生的孩子，一個頂小的；他哥哥死了，屬他母親的只剩下他一人，他父親又疼愛他。」

我必將恩慈之靈和懇求之靈傾注於大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民；他們必瞻望着他，就是他們所刺透的；他們必為他號哭，像喪獨生子而號哭一樣；也必為他憂苦，像喪長子而憂苦一樣。
