And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

方二人將別、伯鐸祿謂耶穌曰：『夫子、吾儕在茲樂甚；容設三幄、一為爾、一為摩西、一為伊理藹。』伯鐸祿實不審其所言也。

As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him,“ Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters— one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”( He did not know what he was saying.)

And as the men were parting from him, Peter said to Jesus,“ Master, it is good that we are here. Let us make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah”— not knowing what he said.

As Moses and Elijah were starting to leave, Peter, not even knowing what he was saying, blurted out,“ Master, it’s wonderful for us to be here! Let’s make three shelters as memorials— one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

As the two men were departing from him, Peter said to Jesus,“ Master, it’s good for us to be here. Let’s set up three shelters: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”— not knowing what he was saying.

But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?

One[ thing] have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to[ give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

[ There be] many that say, Who will shew us[ any] good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time[ that] their corn and their wine increased.

To see thy power and thy glory, so[ as] I have seen thee in the sanctuary.Because thy lovingkindness[ is] better than life, my lips shall praise thee.Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.My soul shall be satisfied as[ with] marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise[ thee] with joyful lips:

Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a[ certain] man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

But[ it is] good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
