父啊，我在哪裡，願你所賜給我的人也能與我在哪裡，好讓他們能看見你所賜給我的榮耀，因為你在創世以前就愛我了。

耶穌回到門徒們那裡，看見他們睡著了，就對彼得說：「你們怎麼就不能與我一同警醒一個小時呢？要警醒禱告，免得陷入試探。你們心靈雖然願意，肉體卻是軟弱的。」耶穌第二次又去禱告說：「我父啊，如果這杯不能離開我，一定要我喝下，那就願你的旨意成就！」他又回來，看見他們在睡覺，因為他們的眼皮發沉。

但我卻聽見了他說話的聲音；我一聽見他說話的聲音，就臉伏於地沉睡了。

他們將要看到他的面容，而他的名字將要寫在他們的額上。將來不再有黑夜，他們不需要燈光或日光，因為主、神將照亮他們。他們將做王，直到永永遠遠。

要知道，我們從前讓你們明白我們主耶穌基督的大能和他來臨的事，並不是隨從巧言編造的故事，相反，我們是親眼見過他威榮的人。

錫安哪，起來，發出亮光！因為你的光已經來到，耶和華的榮耀已經在你上面升起。看哪！黑暗遮蓋大地，幽暗遮蓋萬民，但耶和華必在你上面升起，他的榮耀必顯現在你身上。列國將向著你的光而來，君王們將向著你升起的光輝而來。
