Don’t go from house to house.Into whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat the things that are set before you.Heal the sick who are there, and tell them,‘ God’s Kingdom has come near to you.’But into whatever city you enter, and they don’t receive you, go out into its streets and say,‘ Even the dust from your city that clings to us, we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that God’s Kingdom has come near to you.’I tell you, it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.

Don’t take any gold, silver, or brass in your money belts.Take no bag for your journey, neither two coats, nor sandals, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.Into whatever city or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy; and stay there until you go on.As you enter into the household, greet it.If the household is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it isn’t worthy, let your peace return to you.Whoever doesn’t receive you, nor hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.

He answered them,“ He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”

He commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a staff only: no bread, no wallet, no money in their purse,but to wear sandals, and not put on two tunics.He said to them,“ Wherever you enter into a house, stay there until you depart from there.Whoever will not receive you nor hear you, as you depart from there, shake off the dust that is under your feet for a testimony against them. Assuredly, I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”

No soldier on duty entangles himself in the affairs of life, that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.

Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.

Levi made a great feast for him in his house. There was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining with them.

But if this is how God clothes the grass in the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith?

He said to his disciples,“ Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear.
