耶穌諭眾曰：『人欲從予、務宜克己、日負其十字架、而隨予後。

Then he said to them all:“ Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.

Then he said to all of them,“ Whoever wants to follow me must say no to themselves. They must pick up their cross every day and follow me.

And he said to all,“ If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Then he said to the crowd,“ If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.

Then he said to them all,“ If anyone wants to follow after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.

And He was saying to them all,“ If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

不任十字架而從我者、亦不宜乎我也、得生命者、反喪之、為我而喪生命者、反得之、

人就我而不過於愛父母、妻子、兄弟、姊妹、與己生命者、不得為我徒、不任十字架從我者、亦不得為我徒、

遂呼眾與門徒、曰、欲為我徒、則當克己、負十字架以從、凡欲救生命者、反喪之、為我及福音而喪生命者、必救之、利盡天下、而失生命者、何益之有、人將以何者易生命乎、當此姦惡之世、恥我及我道者、人子以父榮、偕聖使臨時、亦必恥其人矣、

從欲者死、惟藉聖神以滅吾身情欲、則生、

惜生命者、反喪之、不惜生命於此世者、保之至永生、役於我者、當從我、我所在、吾役亦在、役於我者、父必貴之、○

教我棄諸不虔與私欲、生於斯世、必廉節、公義、敬虔、

故當滅去人欲、即淫行、污穢、比頑童、邪僻、貪婪、貪婪與拜偶像一也、

凡宗基督耶穌、致志於敬虔者、必受窘逐、

彼得援而止之曰、主、不可、願勿有此、耶穌顧彼得曰、撒但、退、爾阻我、以爾不體上帝之情、乃人之情耳、耶穌語門徒曰、欲為我徒、則當克己、負十字架以從、欲救生命、者、反喪之、為我而喪生命者、反得之、

我儕何為恆冒險哉、我緣爾宗吾主耶穌基督甚喜、因此發誓、每日冒死不顧、
