耶稣又对众人说：“若有人要跟从我，就当舍己，天天背起自己的十字架来跟从我。

又謂眾曰、欲從我者、當克己日負其十架以從、

亦謂眾曰、欲為吾徒、則當克己、日負十字架以從、

又謂眾曰、人欲從我、則當克己、日負其十字架而從我、

耶穌諭眾曰：『人欲從予、務宜克己、日負其十字架、而隨予後。

Then he said to them all:“ Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.

Then he said to all of them,“ Whoever wants to follow me must say no to themselves. They must pick up their cross every day and follow me.

And he said to all,“ If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Then he said to the crowd,“ If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.

Then he said to them all,“ If anyone wants to follow after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.

And He was saying to them all,“ If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

Then He said to them all,“ If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

And he said unto all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Then He said to them all,“ If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

And he said to[ them] all, If any[ man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Then he said to them all,“ If anyone wants to become my follower, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.

He said to all,“ If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.

不背自己的十字架跟从我的，不配作我的门徒。得着性命的，要丧失性命；为我丧失性命的，要得着性命。”

“无论什么人到我这里来，若不爱我胜过爱自己的父母、妻子、儿女、兄弟、姊妹，甚至自己的性命，就不能作我的门徒。凡不背着自己的十字架来跟从我的，也不能作我的门徒。

于是他叫众人和门徒来，对他们说：“若有人要跟从我，就当舍己，背起自己的十字架来跟从我。因为凡要救自己生命的，必丧失生命；凡为我和福音丧失生命的，必救自己的生命。人就是赚得全世界，赔上自己的生命，有什么益处呢？人还能拿什么换生命呢？凡在这淫乱罪恶的世代，把我和我的道当作可耻的，人子在他父的荣耀里与圣天使一同来临的时候，也要把那人当作可耻的。”

你们若顺从肉体活着，必定会死；若靠着圣灵把身体的恶行处死，就必存活。

爱惜自己性命的，就丧失性命；那恨恶自己在这世上的性命的，要保全性命到永生。若有人服事我，就当跟从我；我在哪里，服事我的人也要在哪里；若有人服事我，我父必尊重他。”

训练我们除去不敬虔的心和世俗的情欲，在今世过克己、正直、敬虔的生活，

所以，要治死你们在地上的肢体；就如淫乱、污秽、邪情、恶欲和贪婪—贪婪就是拜偶像。

其实，凡立志在基督耶稣里敬虔度日的，也都将受迫害。

彼得就拉着他，责备他说：“主啊，千万不可如此！这事绝不可临到你身上。”耶稣转过来，对彼得说：“撒但，退到我后边去！你是我的绊脚石，因为你不体会上帝的心意，而是体会人的意思。”于是耶稣对门徒说：“若有人要跟从我，就当舍己，背起自己的十字架来跟从我。因为凡要救自己生命的，要丧失生命；凡为我丧失生命的，要得着生命。

我们为什么要时刻冒险呢？弟兄们，我在我们的主基督耶稣里，指着你们—我所夸的极力地说，我天天冒死。
