耶穌又對眾人說：「若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，天天背起他的十字架來跟從我。

耶稣又对大家说：“如果有人想要来跟从我，他就当否定自己，天天背起自己的十字架，然后跟从我。

耶穌又對眾人說：「若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，天天背起自己的十字架來跟從我。

耶穌又教導眾人說：「如果有人要跟從我，就應當捨己，天天背起他的十字架跟從我。

耶穌又對眾人說：『人若想要跟着我，就當棄絕自己，天天拿起他的十字架來跟從我。

耶穌又對大家說：「如果有人想要來跟從我，他就當否定自己，天天背起自己的十字架，然後跟從我。

又謂眾曰、欲從我者、當克己日負其十架以從、

亦謂眾曰、欲為吾徒、則當克己、日負十字架以從、

又謂眾曰、人欲從我、則當克己、日負其十字架而從我、

耶穌諭眾曰：『人欲從予、務宜克己、日負其十字架、而隨予後。

Then he said to them all:“ Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.

Then he said to all of them,“ Whoever wants to follow me must say no to themselves. They must pick up their cross every day and follow me.

And he said to all,“ If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Then he said to the crowd,“ If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.

Then he said to them all,“ If anyone wants to follow after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.

And He was saying to them all,“ If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

Then He said to them all,“ If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

And he said unto all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Then He said to them all,“ If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

And he said to[ them] all, If any[ man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Then he said to them all,“ If anyone wants to become my follower, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.

He said to all,“ If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.

不背着他的十字架跟從我的，也不配作我的門徒。得着生命的，將要失喪生命；為我失喪生命的，將要得着生命。」

「人到我這裏來，若不愛我勝過愛自己的父母、妻子、兒女、弟兄、姊妹，和自己的性命，就不能作我的門徒。凡不背着自己十字架跟從我的，也不能作我的門徒。

於是叫眾人和門徒來，對他們說：「若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。因為，凡要救自己生命的，必喪掉生命；凡為我和福音喪掉生命的，必救了生命。人就是賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？凡在這淫亂罪惡的世代，把我和我的道當作可恥的，人子在他父的榮耀裏，同聖天使降臨的時候，也要把那人當作可恥的。」

你們若順從肉體活着，必要死；若靠着聖靈治死身體的惡行，必要活着。

愛惜自己生命的，就失喪生命；在這世上恨惡自己生命的，就要保守生命到永生。若有人服事我，就當跟從我；我在哪裏，服事我的人也要在那裏；若有人服事我，我父必尊重他。」

教訓我們除去不敬虔的心和世俗的情慾，在今世自守、公義、敬虔度日，

所以，要治死你們在地上的肢體，就如淫亂、污穢、邪情、惡慾，和貪婪（貪婪就與拜偶像一樣）。

不但如此，凡立志在基督耶穌裏敬虔度日的也都要受逼迫。

彼得就拉着他，勸他說：「主啊，萬不可如此！這事必不臨到你身上。」耶穌轉過來，對彼得說：「撒但，退我後邊去吧！你是絆我腳的；因為你不體貼神的意思，只體貼人的意思。」於是耶穌對門徒說：「若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。因為，凡要救自己生命的，必喪掉生命；凡為我喪掉生命的，必得着生命。

我們又因何時刻冒險呢？弟兄們，我在我主基督耶穌裏，指着你們所誇的口極力地說，我是天天冒死。
