日头快要平西，十二个门徒来对他说：“请叫众人散开，他们好往四面乡村里去借宿找吃的，因为我们这里是野地。”

黄昏将近，十二个使徒过来对耶稣说：“请遣散众人，好让他们到附近的村庄去借宿找吃的，因为这地方很偏僻。”

Late in the afternoon the Twelve came to him and said,“ Send the crowd away so they can go to the surrounding villages and countryside and find food and lodging, because we are in a remote place here.”

Late in the afternoon the 12 disciples came to him. They said,“ Send the crowd away. They can go to the nearby villages and countryside. There they can find food and a place to stay. There is nothing here.”

Now the day began to wear away, and the twelve came and said to him,“ Send the crowd away to go into the surrounding villages and countryside to find lodging and get provisions, for we are here in a desolate place.”

Late in the afternoon the twelve disciples came to him and said,“ Send the crowds away to the nearby villages and farms, so they can find food and lodging for the night. There is nothing to eat here in this remote place.”

Late in the day, the Twelve approached and said to him,“ Send the crowd away, so that they can go into the surrounding villages and countryside to find food and lodging, because we are in a deserted place here.”

Now the day was ending, and the twelve came up and said to Him,“ Dismiss the crowd, so that they may go into the surrounding villages and countryside and find lodging and get something to eat; because here, we are in a secluded place.”

When the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to Him,“ Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding towns and country, and lodge and get provisions; for we are in a deserted place here.”

And the day began to wear away; and the twelve came, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages and country round about, and lodge, and get provisions: for we are here in a desert place.

And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.

Now the day began to draw to a close, so the twelve came and said to Jesus,“ Send the crowd away, so they can go into the surrounding villages and countryside and find lodging and food, because we are in an isolated place.”

The day began to wear away; and the twelve came and said to him,“ Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding villages and farms, and lodge, and get food, for we are here in a deserted place.”

耶稣却一言不答。门徒进前来，求他说：“这妇人在我们后头喊叫，请打发她走吧。”

并且妄论上帝说：“上帝岂能在旷野摆设筵席吗？他虽曾击打磐石，使水涌出，如江河泛滥；他还能赐粮食吗？还能为他的百姓预备吃的肉吗？”

天已经很晚，门徒进前来，说：“这地方偏僻，而且天已经很晚了，请叫众人散去，他们好往四面的乡镇村庄去，自己买些东西吃。”耶稣回答他们说：“你们给他们吃吧！”门徒对他说：“我们要拿两百个银币去买饼给他们吃吗？”耶稣说：“你们有多少饼？去看看。”他们知道后就说：“有五个，还有两条鱼。”耶稣吩咐他们，叫众人一组一组地坐在青草地上。众人就一群一群地坐下，有一百的，有五十的。耶稣拿着这五个饼和两条鱼，望着天祝福，擘开饼，递给门徒，摆在众人面前，也把那两条鱼分给众人。他们都吃，并且吃饱了。门徒把饼和鱼的碎屑收拾起来，装满了十二个篮子。吃饼的男人共有五千。

傍晚的时候，门徒进前来，说：“这地方偏僻，而且时候已经晚了，请叫众人散去，他们好进村子，自己买些食物。”耶稣对他们说：“不用他们去，你们给他们吃吧！”门徒说：“我们这里只有五个饼、两条鱼。”耶稣说：“拿过来给我。”于是他吩咐众人坐在草地上，就拿着这五个饼和两条鱼，望着天祝福，擘开饼，递给门徒，门徒又递给众人。他们都吃，并且吃饱了。门徒把剩下的碎屑收拾起来，装满了十二个篮子。吃的人中，男的约有五千，还不算妇女和孩子。

耶稣叫门徒来，说：“我怜悯这群人，因为他们同我在这里已经三天，没有吃的东西了。我不愿意叫他们饿着回去，恐怕他们在路上饿昏了。”

耶稣举目看见一大群人来，就对腓力说：“我们到哪里去买饼给这些人吃呢？”他说这话是要考验腓力，他自己原知道要怎样做。腓力回答他：“就是两百个银币的饼也不够给他们每人吃一点点。”有一个门徒，就是西门‧彼得的弟弟安得烈，对耶稣说：“这里有一个孩子，带着五个大麦饼和两条鱼，但是分给这么多人还算什么呢？”耶稣说：“你们叫大家坐下。”那地方的草多，人们就坐下，男人的数目约有五千。耶稣拿起饼来，祝谢了，就分给坐着的人，也同样分了鱼，都照他们所要的来分。他们吃饱后，耶稣对门徒说：“把剩下的碎屑收拾起来，免得糟蹋了。”他们就把那五个大麦饼的碎屑，就是大家吃剩的，收拾起来，装满了十二个篮子。人们看见耶稣所行的神迹，就说：“这真是那要到世上来的先知！”耶稣知道他们要来强迫他作王，就独自又退到山上去了。

这些事以后，耶稣渡过加利利海，就是提比哩亚海。

我曾在旷野，就是那干旱之地认识你。
