「這兩個兒子中，哪一個遵行父親的意願呢？」他們回答說：「大兒子。」耶穌說：「我確實地告訴你們：稅吏和妓女要在你們的前面進神的國，

不久以後，耶穌走遍各個城鎮鄉村，講道、傳神國的福音。與他在一起的有十二使徒。

他宣講神的國、教導有關主耶穌基督的事，滿有膽量、沒有攔阻。

耶穌對他們說：「健康的人不需要醫生，有病的人才需要。

主耶和華的靈在我身上，因為耶和華膏抹我，要我傳好消息給卑微的人；他派遣我去治癒心靈破碎的人，去宣告被擄的得自由、被囚的得釋放，

耶穌下了船，看見一大群人，就對他們動了憐憫之心，使其中的病人痊癒。

然後差派他們去宣講神的國，並且使病人痊癒。

既然如此，人沒有相信他，怎麼能求告他呢？沒有聽說過他，怎麼能相信他呢？沒有人傳講，怎麼能聽到呢？

為此，我告訴你們：神的國要從你們中間被奪走，賜給那結神國果子的人。

因此，信是由聽而來，聽是藉著基督的話而來。

他說：「神國的奧祕已經賜下來讓你們知道，但是對其他的人就用比喻。這是為要使『他們看，卻看不見；聽，卻不領悟。』

凡是父賜給我的人，都會到我這裡來，而到我這裡來的人，我絕不丟棄，

因為基督不但不求自己的喜悅，反而像經上所記的：「那些責罵你之人的責罵，都落在我身上了。」

可是眾人看見他們離開了，並且有許多人認出他們，就從各城鎮一起徒步趕往那裡，而且比他們先到了。耶穌下了船，看見一大群人，就對他們動了憐憫之心，因為他們像羊沒有牧人那樣。耶穌就開始教導他們很多事。

你要傳福音，無論得時不得時，總要堅持；要以極大的耐心和各樣的教導責備人、告誡人、鼓勵人，

他用美物滿足飢餓的人，讓富有的人空手而去。

耶穌對他們說：「我的食物就是遵行那派我來者的旨意，並且完成他的工作。

因此，讓我們坦然無懼地來到恩典的寶座前，為要得著憐憫，尋見恩典，做為及時的幫助。
