And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred shillings’ worth of bread, and give them to eat?And he saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.And he commanded them that all should sit down by companies upon the green grass.And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.And he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake the loaves; and he gave to the disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.And they all ate, and were filled.And they took up broken pieces, twelve basketfuls, and also of the fishes.And they that ate the loaves were five thousand men.And straightway he constrained his disciples to enter into the boat, and to go before him unto the other side to Bethsaida, while he himself sendeth the multitude away.

And he said unto his disciples, Make them sit down in companies, about fifty each.And they did so, and made them all sit down.And he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake; and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.And they ate, and were all filled: and there was taken up that which remained over to them of broken pieces, twelve baskets.

Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter.

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit to them: for they watch in behalf of your souls, as they that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief: for this were unprofitable for you.

Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.Jesus therefore took the loaves; and having given thanks, he distributed to them that were set down; likewise also of the fishes as much as they would.And when they were filled, he saith unto his disciples, Gather up the broken pieces which remain over, that nothing be lost.So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which remained over unto them that had eaten.
