The Pharisees( who loved money) heard all this and ridiculed him.

I am a laughingstock to my friends, I, who called on God and whom he answered– a righteous and blameless man is a laughingstock!

Pilate was surprised that he was already dead. He called the centurion and asked him if he had been dead for some time.When Pilate was informed by the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.

All who see me taunt me; they mock me and shake their heads.

Jesus said,“ Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, replied,“ Lord, by this time the body will have a bad smell, because he has been buried four days.”
