He will not shout or raise his voice in public.

He took Peter, James, and John with him, and he became deeply troubled and distressed.

Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled.”So she did as she was told. Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another.Soon every container was full to the brim!“ Bring me another jar,” she said to one of her sons.“ There aren’t any more!” he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing.

About eight days later Jesus took Peter, John, and James up on a mountain to pray.

“ When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get.But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

Then Jesus stopped the crowd and wouldn’t let anyone go with him except Peter, James, and John( the brother of James).When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw much commotion and weeping and wailing.He went inside and asked,“ Why all this commotion and weeping? The child isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.”The crowd laughed at him. But he made them all leave, and he took the girl’s father and mother and his three disciples into the room where the girl was lying.

But Peter asked them all to leave the room; then he knelt and prayed. Turning to the body he said,“ Get up, Tabitha.” And she opened her eyes! When she saw Peter, she sat up!

Then he lay down on the child’s body, placing his mouth on the child’s mouth, his eyes on the child’s eyes, and his hands on the child’s hands. And as he stretched out on him, the child’s body began to grow warm again!Elisha got up, walked back and forth across the room once, and then stretched himself out again on the child. This time the boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes!Then Elisha summoned Gehazi.“ Call the child’s mother!” he said. And when she came in, Elisha said,“ Here, take your son!”
