And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.”So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out.Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son,“ Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her,“ There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.

Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.

“ And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

And He permitted no one to follow Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.Then He came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and saw a tumult and those who wept and wailed loudly.When He came in, He said to them,“ Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.”And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying.

But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said,“ Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

And he went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands; and he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm.He returned and walked back and forth in the house, and again went up and stretched himself out on him; then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.And he called Gehazi and said,“ Call this Shunammite woman.” So he called her. And when she came in to him, he said,“ Pick up your son.”
